Telwin Technomig 260 Dual Synergic is a microprocessor- controlled inverter wire welder . This machine allows MIG-MAG wire welding and, thanks to its multi-process capability, can also be used for MMA , TIG DC-Lift welding and for welding with FLUX and BRAZING modes.

Single-phase 230V wire welder, Technomig 260 Dual Synergic by Telwin has a current range from 20 to 250 A , with a no-load voltage of 60 V and a maximum absorbed power of 6.3 kW . The efficiency of 87% and the power factor (cosphi) of 0.7 ensure high professional performance .

The flexibility of use and the different welded materials ( steel, stainless steel, aluminium ) or brazed ( galvanised sheet metal ) confirm Technomig Technomig 260 Dual Synergic as an excellent solution in a wide variety of fields of application, from maintenance to installation to bodywork interventions .

Technical specifications

The electrodes that can be used in DC are between 1.6 and 4 mm , with a welding diameter for steel of 0.6 - 1.2 mm , while for stainless steel and aluminum the diameter is 0.8 - 1 mm . The welding diameter of the cored , on the other hand, is 0.8 - 1.2 mm , while the diameter for brazing is 0.8 - 1 mm .

Thanks to One Touch technology, it is possible to synergistically adjust the welding parameters , allowing greater ease of use of these products, simplifying operations. It is sufficient to adjust the thickness of the material to start welding. The One Touch LCD display allows a better reading of all the welding parameters on Technomig 260 Dual Synergic, allowing the operator to control the work in real time.

The intelligent and automatic control of the arc , instant by instant, will maintain high performance in all working conditions, with different materials and/or gases. It is also possible to manually intervene on the length of the arc : this adjustment will allow you to modify the shape of the welding bead based on the welder's style .

The reduced weight and maximum compactness ( 62 x 26 x 49 cm for 22 kg ) of the Telwin wire welder also ensure easy transportability to all work sites, both indoors and outdoors.

The Technomig 260 Dual Synergic inverter welder is equipped with 27 preset synergic curves , with voltage , current and welding speed displayed on the practical LCD display .

Welding adjustments

Possible adjustments include: wire ramp , electronic reactance , final wire burn time (burn back) and post gas . Selection of 2/4 stroke operation, spot .

For GAS MIG-MAG/BRAZING welding, a polarity change is foreseen.

Protections provided

The Technomig 260 Dual Synergic model is equipped with various protections including thermostatic protection , overvoltage and undervoltage protection, overcurrent protection and motor generator protection (+/- 15%) .

Possible welding types

• MMA : the electrode is made of a metal wire which is also used as a filler material and the unwinding of the spool occurs semi-automatically.
• TIG : requires a lower voltage and therefore absorbs less, becoming cheaper and aesthetically the most beautiful.
• MIG : also semi-automatic, the gas used is carbon dioxide and it is mainly used for welding common steels.
• FLUX : FLUX continuous/cored wire welding is a process in which the heat required to perform the weld is provided by an electric arc maintained between the piece to be welded and the electrode wire.
• BRAZING : it is mainly used for brazing, that is, to perform a heterogeneous type of welding.
