Speroni APM 200 Deep Suction Self-Priming Pump
The Speroni APM 200 is a self-priming electric pump used when there are strong excursions in the water level, in fact it can be used for deep suction up to 50 metres. This pump is therefore suitable for water supply with suction from wells.
The Speroni APM 200 electric pump uses a 2-pole induction electric motor.

Usage notes
Before installing, check that the pipes are internally clean so as not to clog the ejector nozzle. A foot (check) valve must be fitted to the foot of the ejector. Once assembly is completed, completely fill the pipes and pump body with clean water. To maintain efficient priming, there must be a certain pressure in the circuit, therefore it is advisable to fit a diaphragm tank on the pump delivery.
The pump is connected in a "ring", i.e. 2 pipes enter the well:
- a suction one (of larger diameter) connected to the inlet of the pump suction port
- a recirculation one (of smaller diameter) connected to the pump delivery by means of a regulation gate valve.
At the bottom of the well an EJECTOR equipped with a foot valve is connected which is connected to the two pipes. The suction pipe inside mounts a Venturi. The recirculation of the water creates a depression sufficient to suck the water through the non-return valve and to convey it towards the suction pipe.
The operation is simple: at the beginning the pump and the pipes are filled with water, then with the recirculation gate valve open it starts. The water begins to circulate, by partially closing the gate valve according to "at will and discretion" it is possible to vary the flow rate (if the gate valve is closed too much, the pump will be disengaged, if, on the contrary, it is closed just a little, the flow rate will be low). With less than 6/8 meters it can be completely closed.
