Leo ACSm - Self-priming centrifugal pump
The Leo ACSm centrifugal pump is an efficient self-priming centrifugal pump designed for a wide range of industrial and domestic applications . With a compact and reliable design , the ACSm pump is able to provide optimum performance in terms of flow rate and pressure. The ACSm pump features a corrosion-resistant cast iron body that ensures long life and trouble-free operation even in harsh environments.
Operation of Leo ACSm surface electric pump
The operation of the Leo ACSm surface electric pump can be divided into several phases:
- Water Suction : The electric pump is placed above the water source and a suction tube (usually called a suction foot) is immersed in the water. The electric motor is then started.
- Vacuum Creation : The electric motor drives a shaft that is connected to an impeller inside the pump. This impeller rotates at high speed creating a vacuum in the suction chamber.
- Water suction : Thanks to the vacuum created, water is pushed through the suction pipe towards the pump. The impeller captures the incoming water and guides it towards the pumping chamber.
- Pumping Water : Once water enters the pumping chamber, the impeller continues to rotate, pushing water toward the pump outlet. The pressure generated by the rotation of the impeller pushes the water through the outlet pipe.
- Water Distribution : The pumped water is then sent to the desired distribution system, such as a home water supply, irrigation system, or heating and air conditioning system.
