Parameter Adjustment

The efficient duty cycle of the Helvi Fox 191, reaching 180A at 20% and 75A at 100%, makes it suitable for a wide range of welding tasks, ensuring high productivity even in the most demanding situations. The control panel, completely redesigned from previous models, offers an intuitive and fast experience in adjusting welding parameters.

Welding Different Materials

Helvi Fox 191 is designed for use with various materials, including iron, stainless steel, and aluminum. Thanks to the quick polarity change in the wire feeder compartment, it is possible to easily switch from gas-shielded welding to FLUX cored wire welding, offering flexibility in the work process.

With the ability to use wire spools with a diameter from 0.6 to 1.0 mm, the machine offers ample autonomy during MIG/MAG continuous wire process operations. Furthermore, the synergistic mode allows for efficient welding, with current and wire speed automatically adjusted based on material thickness.

MMA Support Devices

The Helvi Fox 191 is not limited to MIG/MAG welding; it can also be used for MMA welding with rutile and basic electrodes from Ø 1.6 to 4.0 mm on a variety of materials, including iron, stainless steel, and cast iron.

The Helvi FOX 191 welder is equipped with three devices that support the operator during the most complex phases of MMA welding:

• Arc Force: increases arc voltage to prevent extinguishing when the operator moves the electrode away from the base material or with specific electrodes
• Hot Start: momentary voltage surge during arc ignition to simplify the starting phase
• Anti-Stick: automatic protection system that prevents electrode sticking by suspending welding current

DX25 Connections
The welder is equipped with two DX25 25 mm² connections to allow the connection of the ground clamp and the MMA electrode holder clamp.

Types of Welding Possible with Helvi FOX 191

• MMA: MMA welding, or shielded metal arc welding, is certainly the most common welding method in non-professional environments or for tasks that do not require specific qualitative and productive performance. MMA welders are simpler to use, although this welding method yields less precise aesthetic results due to slag produced by the absence of shielding gas.
• MIG: In MIG welding, the electrode is a metal wire that is also used as filler material, and the wire is fed semi-automatically from the spool, unlike TIG welding.
