PA A30 R - Self-propelled rotating head for tank cleaning

Self-propelled rotating tank washing head with a flow rate of up to 12 L/min. This head is ideal for the automatic washing of tanks, reservoirs , and process equipment in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.

The PA A30 R head is made of stainless steel and is therefore suitable for the HACCP food sector.

The movement of the rotating head is obtained through the washing fluid which sets a turbine in rotation. The turbine drives a gear reducer that reduces rotation speed and increases torque to ensure proper rotation speed and smooth, error-free operation. The meticulous design allows for the washing jet to be programmed to repeat its movements along the internal wall according to a well-defined pattern, ensuring complete tank cleaning.

Functional Specifications

The rotating head must be connected to a pressure circuit, generally pressure washers and similar, equipped with all safety and control devices (such as safety valves, regulation valves, etc.).

The head must be firmly anchored to the mouth of the tank or to a suitable support, the nozzles must be located in the centre of the tank if possible and equidistant from the walls.
The liquid sent from the system to the head must be filtered to prevent foreign bodies from entering, which causes poor operation and consequently more frequent maintenance interventions.

Maintenance : after normal use, perform an internal wash of the head by supplying it with clean water without additives.

The Rotating Head is built to work with water up to 90°C with a nominal flow rate of 9 to 12 L/min with a maximum pressure of 140 bar . PA A30 R has a Ø 60 mm overall size and features FKM (Viton) seals . Finally, this tank cleaning head works at approximately 35-55 RPM. Inlet G 1/2 F.
