The Telwin Tecnica TIG 190 is a direct current inverter welder that can be used for welding in TIG and MMA mode. TIG arc welding is ideal for working on thin thicknesses and guarantees a high aesthetics of the weld and excellent control of the arc; electrode welding is a very economical and very practical welding method, ideal for welding in all positions and without the use of gas cylinders.

This semi-professional welder can use rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron electrodes, etc. with thicknesses up to 4 mm and is ideal for use with materials such as steel, stainless steel, titanium, copper, nickel and their alloys. The TIG mode uses the TIG Lift contact arc ignition , which allows the electrode to be ignited with a simple contact; this system does not pollute the welding bath and causes less electro-irradiated disturbances.

The Telwin TIG 190 Technique is a lightweight and compact welding machine , equipped with a digital display to show the welding current. In addition to all the basic protections, another important feature is the presence of the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) device that reduces the output voltage to a safe level when the welding machine is on but not welding; this system guarantees the safety of the operator in the event of contact with the electrode.

The welder accepts overvoltages of +/- 15% and can therefore be used together with motor generators . It is equipped with hot start, arc force and anti stick functions and is supplied complete with an accessories case.

Types of welding possible with TELWIN TECNICA TIG 190

• TIG : requires low voltage and therefore absorbs little, becoming cheaper and aesthetically the most beautiful of all welding techniques.
  TIG welding has a so-called coin-shaped shape due to the circular shapes it produces and is more resistant, therefore it is usually used on visible elements and on processes that require precision.
• MMA : also called coated electrode welding, it is certainly the most widespread welding method in non-professional environments or in processes that do not require particular qualitative and productive performance. This type of welding machines are easier to use even if they give less aesthetically precise results than other types of welding due to the slag produced by the absence of protective gas.
