The Tecnica 188 MPGE inverter welder cod. 816223 supplied with a case of accessories for electrode welding , is especially recommended for use with power generators or extension cables: maximum performance even with unstable power supplies thanks to the multiple protections: thermostatic, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and MPGE (waveform control device) which ensures stable voltage.

Other features that make Tecnica 188 MPGE a semi-professional electrode welder to take into consideration are the arc force device (facilitates the transfer of drops of molten material from the electrode to the material to be welded, preventing the arc from switching off when contact occurs, via the drops themselves, between the electrode and the weld pool), the hot start device (facilitates the striking of the electric arc, providing an overcurrent, at each restart of welding), the anti-stick device (automatically switches off the welding generator, if the electrode sticks to the material to be welded, allowing its manual removal, without damaging the electrode holder).

Furthermore, the Tecnica 188 MPGE DC electrode welder can also be used for TIG welding with Scratch ignition by purchasing the kit code 801097.

TYPES OF WELDING POSSIBLE WITH TELWIN TECNICA 188 MPGE

  • MMA : also called coated electrode welding, it is certainly the most widespread welding method in non-professional environments or in processes that do not require particular qualitative and productive performance. This type of welding machines are simpler to use even if they give less precise results from an aesthetic point of view compared to other types of welding.
  • TIG : requires low voltage and therefore absorbs little, becoming cheaper and aesthetically the most beautiful of all welding techniques. TIG welding has a so-called coin shape due to the circular shapes it produces and is more resistant, therefore it is usually used in visible elements and on processes that require precision.
