Telwin Tecnica 171/S is an MMA and TIG electrode inverter welder (with scratch striking) in direct current (DC). Equipped with an integrated digital display for viewing the set welding current, this welder has a robust and raised structure that protects it from dust, water and dirt, while its compactness, lightness and the included plastic case make it easily transportable.
Thanks to the inverter technology Telwin Tecnica 171/S has low consumption. Furthermore, it is compatible for use with a motor generator thanks also to the presence of overcurrent, undervoltage, overvoltage and thermostatic protection.
With a power of 150 A in direct current (DC) , the Telwin Tecnica 171/S welding machine offers advanced arc control devices , such as: the " arc force " function which guarantees superior arc stability, the " hot start " which facilitates the ignition of the arc and the " anti-stick " option which prevents the electrodes from blocking during welding. These inspection tools offer greater precision and control during the welding process, helping to achieve high-quality results.
Telwin Tecnica 171/S can use a wide range of electrodes , including rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron, etc. up to 4 mm.
