One Touch Technology

Thanks to the synergic regulation of the welding parameters , which uses One Touch technology: the user simply sets the thickness of the material and starts welding. The intelligent and automatic control of the arc , instant by instant, is used to maintain high welding performance in all working conditions, with different materials and/or gases.

On this inverter welding machine model, it is also possible to manually adjust the length of the arc : this adjustment will allow you to modify the shape of the welding bead based on the welder's style.

Technical specifications

This inverter welder, with dimensions of 46 x 24 x 36 cm and a weight of 11 kg , has a single-phase current voltage of 230 V , with a current regulation range of 20 - 170 A. The no-load voltage is 44 V , with a maximum absorbed current of 22 A.

Types of welding possible with Telwin Technomig 180 Dual Synergic

• MMA : also called coated electrode welding, it is certainly the most widespread welding method in non-professional environments or in processes that do not require particular qualitative and productive performance. This type of welding machines are simpler to use even if they give less precise results from an aesthetic point of view compared to other types of welding due to the slag produced by the absence of protective gas.
• MIG : the electrode is made of a metal wire which is also used as a filler material and the unwinding of the spool occurs semi-automatically, unlike TIG welding.
• MAG : also semi-automatic, here the gas used is carbon dioxide and it is mainly used to weld common steels. MIG welding guarantees a higher level of precision, more refined results and is preferred for large thicknesses while MAG is more economical and also allows you to weld copper, aluminum and magnesium.
• TIG : this welding uses rods as filler material (held in the hand by the operator) and uses argon or helium. It requires a lower voltage and therefore absorbs less, becoming cheaper and aesthetically the most beautiful. TIG welding has a so-called coin shape due to the circular shapes it produces and is more resistant, therefore it is usually used in visible elements and on processes that require precision.
• FLUX (Cored Wire Welding): is a process in which the heat required to perform the welding is provided by an electric arc maintained between the piece to be welded and the electrode wire. The welding area is constantly fed, thanks to a special torch, with the filler material. Characteristic is the absence of the gas cylinder in the welding circuit together with the use of animated electrode wires.
• BRAZING : this is an assembly operation that is obtained by melting a filler metal (for example silver or tin-based alloys) without melting the base metal. Brazing therefore allows the edges of the joint to be kept intact.
