Svelt Palco SPALCO204 - Professional Use Platform Ladder
Svelt Palco is a dismountable platform ladder composed of a climbing trunk, large oversized steps, and a safety handrail along the entire ladder. Thanks to the almost vertical backrest perpendicular to the ground, it is possible to get as close as possible to the work surface.
Platform ladders are an ideal type of ladder for working at height near shelves, walls, and machinery in complete safety and comfort without sacrificing freedom of movement. Both in construction and industrial settings, platform ladders are essential for ensuring operator mobility and safety.
Thanks to the spring braking system, the Svelt SPALCO204 platform ladder is safe for the user and allows you to reach 2.90 m with your hands. Its total height is 1.81 m, while the distance from the ground to the platform is 0.90 m.
Complies with European standard UNI EN131 and Italian decree D.Lgs.81/08.

These ladders are tested against tipping according to European standards UNI EN131/7 with a 30 Kg push at platform level. The presence of the handrail makes climbing and descending the ladder safer and more stable, but if the work platform exceeds one meter in height, it is advisable to equip the ladders with handrails on both sides.
Functional Specifications
Self-Braking System
Svelt Palco is equipped with a braking system that engages when the ladder is in use with an operator on it. With weight, the spring system locks the wheels and is released when the operator steps off the ladder. For greater safety, it is also necessary to use the foot brake present on two of the 4 wheels, which makes the ladder even more stable. Once unloaded, it can be pushed.
Oversized Steps
The oversized steps with a large tread depth of 20 cm and a distance of 24 cm between them ensure maximum stability and ease of use. The steps are welded to the extruded ribbed aluminum structure.
