Intelblast IBL2500 - Dry Ice Blasting

The Intelblast IBL2500 cryogenic sandblaster runs on dry ice for natural cleaning , uses no chemicals and minimizes the need for special waste disposal.

IBL2500 performs a deep cleaning without damaging sensitive areas such as electrical components, switches, wiring, photoelectric sensors, in fact the ice is completely dry and non-abrasive .

The cleaning process of the IBL2500 sandblaster is very fast and dry , the dry ice disappears on contact with the surfaces so there is no need for drying times.

Operation

Dry ice pellets are driven at high speed by compressed air , whose pressure is adjustable . Upon impact, the dry ice creates a micro-thermal shock ( caused by the extreme cold of -79ºC ) which breaks the bond between the coating and the support. The ice in combination with the high pressure air flow easily removes dirt from the surface.

Practical and handy

With a total width of only 50cm , the IBL2500 can be moved easily even in tight spaces especially between production machines. This allows the operator to get closer to the point to be cleaned, to use a flexible hose of reduced dimensions and therefore to obtain better results.

Tank capacity

The small size does not mean that the dry ice tank is small, it can contain up to 23 kg of dry ice . The tank is not removable for emptying the dry ice into the special container, but can be dismantled in just 10 minutes for maintenance on the machine.

Simplicity and robustness

The possibility of moving in small spaces also means risk of damage to the machine. For this we have designed the cryogenic sandblaster with resistant components and placed in protected places behind the handles on the back of the machine.
