Intelblast IBL Mini Compact Cryogenic Sandblaster
The Intelblast IBL Mini is a compact and cost effective cryogenic sandblaster suitable for use with low air flow compressors .
The IBL Mini is the ideal choice for companies that want to have the opportunity to clean small parts and surfaces, daily maintenance of processing equipment and electronics or occasional cleaning of parts is easily done with IBLmini , without being forced to use compressors with high air flow rates .
Functional specifications
- Easy to Maintain
Daily maintenance, treatment of electronics or occasional cleaning of individual parts is easy to do with the Intel Blast IBL Mini cryogenic sandblaster. - Air Flow Required by the Compressor
The main benefit of the Intelblast IBL Mini, besides the low price, is the fact that it has been designed to be used with most common compressed air systems. Most industries have 7 bar pressure compressors with air volumes of 500 to 3000 liters per minute which should be sufficient for major cleaning jobs. - Noise Almost Nothing
With the Intelblast IBL mini you are able to work with dry ice in an area where other people are working. In operation, the IBL mini reaches a maximum noise level of 75db which makes it usable even without hearing protection. - Nozzles and Jet Hose
Standard nozzles are 3mm and 5mm flat jet nozzles, made for use with low airflows along with the lightweight 3 meter hose and 1/2 inch jet hose. All easily assembled by the operator. Therefore, for air flow rates below 1000 L / sec, dry ice pellets of 2.2mm or smaller should be used to achieve optimum cleaning performance with the 3mm nozzle. While, to use the standard 3mm pellets you will have to use the 5mm nozzle. - Checks
The dry ice consumption can be adjusted from 10 to 30 kg / h and the jet pressure from 2 to 12 bar . - Easy to Transport, Maneuver and Store
Lightweight (only 29 kg) and compact (55 x 48 x 90cm), the Intelblast IBL Mini can be easily lifted and loaded into a car or onto a shelf. Equipped with wheels and a stop for the jet tube, moving the IBL Mini to the point of use is an easy task.
It is not always necessary to have the maximum cleaning power / speed . One of the most obvious benefits of dry ice is that it can also clean electronic components and sensitive surfaces without damage. However, to obtain a faster cleaning on delicate surfaces where it is not essential not to cause damage, eg. steel surfaces, then these factors must be maximized.
- Standard Nozzles
- Wide nozzles
- Curved nozzles
- Crusher
Throat diameter
The throat diameter indicates what airflow is needed to maintain pressure.
If you were to work with a nozzle that has a full 1 inch opening, the "expanding" air would cause a drastic drop in the pressure and acceleration generated. To avoid this, it is important to have a restriction in the air flow .
This is done in the nozzle or as a fixed part of the nozzle as for IBLmini where you can use a 3mm , 4mm or 5mm nozzle or as we do in the nozzles for IBL3000 where you can change the tips to maximize cleaning pressure. Using the inserts allows for significant savings as you can use all the different inserts for one nozzle.
