Operating on steep slopes, embankments, and rough terrain with traditional machines exposes the operator to the real risk of tipping, slipping, and direct contact with thick vegetation. Bluebird FM 25-75 Remote Control eliminates this critical issue at the source: it is a professional, tracked, radio-controlled flail mower specifically designed for maintaining steep slopes , with a 2.4G remote control system that allows complete management of the unit from up to 200 meters away . The operator works safely, outside the risk zone, without sacrificing precision and productivity.
The machine is built around a hybrid architecture of proven industrial reliability: a 608 cc 12 kW Loncin petrol engine manages the power generation, while two 1500 W brushless motors govern the differential traction on the tracks. The 29" (736 mm) floating blades complete the system, continuously adapting to ground irregularities to ensure uniform mowing of tall grass, brushwood and brambles in all conditions. For contexts such as roadside maintenance , railway area management , embankment cleaning in agricultural and forestry areas or the care of orchards and vineyards on hillsides , the Bluebird FM 25-75 is a direct technical answer.

The heart of the FM 25-75 is a hybrid powertrain: the 608cc single-cylinder Loncin internal combustion engine delivers 12 kW of nominal power , powering a 24V electrical system that distributes current to the two 1500W brushless motors dedicated to traction. The hybrid architecture ensures high and constant torque even in conditions of high rolling resistance, with the advantage of the ease of maintenance of brushless electric motors, which have no brushes and a significantly longer service life than traditional DC motors.
In terms of operational performance, the FM 25-75 robot flail mower reaches a forward speed of 57 m/min and operates on lateral slopes of up to 30° , with automatic activation of the 45° anti-tipping sensor as a last-resort protection system. The 150 mm wide tracks distribute the 400 kg net weight over a generous contact surface, reducing specific pressure and preserving the turf even on soft soils. The operating dimensions of 121 × 120 × 69 cm make the machine maneuverable even in tight spaces, such as corridors between vineyard rows or the perimeter strips of tree plantations.
The remote control system operates on the 2.4G band with a certified range of 200 meters , allowing for complete management of the operating cycle from a safe distance. The remote control with integrated display allows the operator to start and stop the engine, adjust the cutting height, and monitor operating parameters in real time, without having to approach the work area. In high-risk scenarios such as roadsides, railway embankments, and embankments near waterways, this feature directly improves the safety profile of the construction site, reducing exposure to critical events such as rollovers or ejected materials.
The 29" (736 mm) floating blade cutting system is the technical answer to the main criticality of working on uneven terrain: maintaining optimal contact between the blade and the ground regardless of the terrain profile. The blades passively adapt to changes in elevation, eliminating the missed cut zones typical of rigid plates and ensuring a uniform result on heterogeneous vegetation , from low grass to the most robust brambles. The result is a significant reduction in the number of passes required and a higher output per effective working hour.
The two independent 1500W brushless motors enable differential traction, allowing the machine to turn on the spot and make changes in direction in tight spaces without losing traction. The 150mm tracks ensure stability on loose soil, wet ground, and grassy surfaces, with low specific pressure that limits damage to the vegetation. This configuration makes the tracked remote-controlled brush cutter effective even in adverse weather conditions, where wheeled vehicles lose grip and safety.
The remote cutting height adjustment , ranging from 35 to 125 mm from the ground, allows you to adjust the working height directly from the remote control without interrupting progress. In areas with variable vegetation density, this feature allows you to switch from low-to-the-ground mowing to high-cut mowing without stopping, optimizing energy efficiency, adapting the cutting action to the characteristics of the vegetation cover, and reducing mechanical wear on the blades on surfaces with stones or occasional irregularities.
The anti-tip sensor automatically intervenes when the machine exceeds a 45° inclination, stopping the traction and cutting functions to prevent the unit from overturning. This active protection system is sized to cover the residual risk range beyond the nominal 30° lateral slope, i.e., in situations involving soft ground, obstacles hidden under vegetation, or maneuvers at the limit of operating conditions. Integration with the remote control ensures that the operator can regain control of the situation in complete safety, without having to physically intervene on the machine.
The FM 25-75 tracked radio-controlled mower is designed to operate in contexts where traditional ride-on machines are inadequate or do not comply with safety requirements. Its main applications include road and highway embankment maintenance , vegetation management on river banks and irrigation canals , avalanche protection strips , and green maintenance in railway areas . In agriculture, its track profile and cutting width make it suitable for managing inter-row spaces in terraced vineyards and orchards, where the slope and width of the corridor preclude the use of traditional tractors.
