Ecotech F27 Hornet is a tracked remote-controlled flail mower designed for mowing on steep slopes up to 62°, such as embankments, riverbanks, vineyards, and rough terrain. The 100 cm cutting width provided by the hydraulically opening front cutting deck and the 26 HP Honda iGXV800 Stage V engine make it a professional solution for groundskeepers, agricultural businesses, and forestry operators.

The patented track widening system, with center of gravity variation, ensures stability and grip where a traditional tracked remote-controlled mower would struggle to operate. Compact enough to be transported in the back of a van, this flail mower with Y-blades tackles all types of vegetation.

Technical Specifications

The Ecotech F27 Hornet features a 779 cc, Stage V 26 HP twin-cylinder Honda iGXV800 gasoline engine with electronic injection and electronic throttle control. The transmission is hydraulic, with a negative safety brake on both hydraulic motors. Control is via an Autec Professional remote control, powered by a 12V lithium battery.

The forward speed is adjustable from 0 to 7 km/h. The Y-blade cutting system offers a working width of 1000 mm, with a cutting height adjustable from 20 to 200 mm. The tracks are 180 mm wide, and the maximum static lateral tilt angle is 62°.

Functional Specifications

Opening Front Cutting Deck with Adjustable Height

The 100 cm front deck opens and closes during operation, depending on the vegetation to be treated. With the deck more closed, a uniform cut of low grass and edges is achieved. By opening it, the intake increases, and the machine easily tackles branches, bushes, and taller, bulkier shrubs without changing equipment.

The cutting height, adjustable from 20 to 200 mm, also allows for transitioning from edge trimming to mulching dense vegetation and shrubs. The operator decides at any moment how much to open the deck and how high to raise the machine, remaining at a safe distance thanks to the remote control. A single machine thus covers grass, branches, bushes, and slopes, reducing passes, working time, and manual interventions.

Anti-Derailment System and Negative Safety Brakes

The patented system prevents track derailment under any operating conditions, even on uneven or sloped ground. Hydraulic negative safety brakes on both hydraulic motors lock the machine in case of stoppage, ensuring safer operation in all situations.

Honda iGXV800 Stage V Engine with Electronic Injection

The 779 cc Honda iGXV800 Stage V engine combines professional reliability with compliance with the latest emission regulations. Electronic injection and electronic throttle control ensure smooth power delivery, while the speed adjustable from 0 to 7 km/h allows adapting the forward movement to the vegetation density.

Cooling Fan Reversal

The reversal of the cooling fan's movement allows for cleaning the radiator of vegetation debris, maintaining optimal operating temperature during prolonged work. The extremely compact dimensions make the machine easy to transport in the back of a van, reducing logistics time and costs between job sites.
