ABAC COOL compressed air dryers use a refrigerant gas to cool compressed air, thereby condensing and eliminating water from the air. This refrigeration technology is the most widely used in over 95% of industrial applications .

The ABAC COOL series allows you to reach a pressure dew point of 5°C . Refrigerant dryers are commonly used in pneumatic and general industrial applications such as engineering, steel, paper, tanneries, garages.

ABAC COOL Compressed Air Dryer Components

1. Capillary tube to significantly reduce the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant improving the cooling process
2. Refrigerant filter to protect the capillary tube from the potential ingress of polluting particles
3. Hot gas bypass valve :
   • Injects hot gases from the compressor exhaust into the suction/liquid separator
   • Maintains cooling capacity under all load conditions
   • Maintains constant pressure in the evaporator, preventing freezing
4. Timed drain to ensure proper condensate drainage
5. Control Panel: PDP indicator (green zone) and main on/off switch
6. Air/refrigerant and air/air heat exchangers with high heat exchange and low pressure drops . Integrated water separator for highly effective water/air separation.
7. Refrigerant compressor driven by an electric motor , cooled by the refrigerant and protected against thermal overload
8. Air-cooled refrigerant condenser with large surface area for high heat exchange .
