The Rato G2 HP motor pump is a self-priming gasoline-powered motor pump , meaning it draws and pushes water thanks to the mechanical energy generated by the Rato R210 internal combustion engine. The engine transmits motion to the centrifugal pump shaft, which creates a vacuum (partial vacuum) in the pump body. This vacuum allows water to rise from the suction point (e.g., well, tank, basin) to the pump itself.
