Fral FDK100 - Compact Professional Dehumidifier
The Fral FDK100 dehumidifier is a small professional dehumidifier equipped with a hot gas defrosting system with electronic and thermostatic control. This industrial dehumidifier is designed to control and maintain humidity even in hostile environments up to temperatures close to 0°C.
Fral FDK100, thanks to its smaller size compared to traditional dehumidifiers, can be moved to different rooms depending on your needs, working where humidity could cause damage to objects or electronic systems.
This compact dehumidifier is equipped with a washable and replaceable polyurethane filter , rubber feet and a mechanical dehumidifier pre-installed on the machine.
How a dehumidifier works
A dehumidifier is a machine that sucks in air and filters it. The air passes through a radiator filled with refrigerant gas . The low temperature condenses the humidity present, collecting the waste liquid in a tank. The dehumidifiers of the FDK Fral line are equipped with a hot gas defrosting system with electronic and thermostatic control, managing to work with temperatures even close to 0°C.

Sturdy structure in galvanized sheet metal
Fral FDK100 is made of hot-dip galvanized sheets which are subsequently painted using epoxy powders, thus ensuring high resistance to atmospheric agents and aggressive environments.
Rotary compressor
The compressor mounted on the Fral FDK100 dehumidifier is of the rotary type mounted on anti-vibration mounts.
Refrigeration circuit
The evaporator and condenser coils are made of copper tubes and aluminum fins .
Fixed exhaust
The Fral FDK100 dehumidifier does not have a condensation collection container and therefore needs to be connected to a fixed drain .
Condensate lifting pump
To overcome the need for a fixed drain, it is possible to separately equip your Fral FDK100 dehumidifier with the condensation lifting pump kit which, connected externally to the machine, allows the expulsion of condensed water up to a height of 3.5 m. from the point where the dehumidifier is located. This kit is preventively equipped with malfunction alarms aimed at avoiding unwanted effects such as blockages or water leaks.
Axial fan
The fan mounted on the FDK line is of the statically and dynamically balanced axial type.
Hot gas defrosting
It allows the use of the dehumidifier in environments with temperatures up to 0.5°C , it is a special hot gas injection system to speed up the defrosting of ice formed in the evaporator.
Air Filter
The air filter that Fral FDK100 is equipped with is made of polyurethane and is entirely washable and easily replaceable for better maintenance. High efficiency filter .
Microprocessor
The Fral FDK100 microprocessor controls the defrost cycles , the compressor timer and the alarm board.
Pre-installed dehumidifier
The dehumidifier is mechanical and is located on the side of the machine. Complies with European regulations.
Technical specifications
This dehumidifier for industrial spaces is the ideal machine to remove and/or control the humidity of rooms . Its air flow is 1100 m³/h with an average nominal absorbed power of 1000 W. Fral FDW44 uses Gas R1234yf both for operation and for the defrosting system.
The industrial dehumidifier in question has 4 rubber feet and two sturdy handles to facilitate transport and a resistant powder-coated structure to resist atmospheric and aggressive agents. The noise level of this machine is 56 dB(A) and it is designed to be used with a fixed drain or with the optional kit with a condensate lifting pump with a 3/4" connection .
