LC-P-300A is a 300W pulsed fiber laser cleaning system with a JPT source, for laser descaling and removal of oxides, paints, and surface contaminants.
It operates at 1064 nm with multiple energy control and is designed for integration into automated lines.

What is Laser Cleaning?
Laser Cleaning is an innovative and ecological technology designed to degrease, strip paint, and de-oxidize surfaces quickly, effectively, and completely dry.
How it works:
- Targeted and Selective Action: The machine projects a concentrated laser beam onto the surface. The light energy is absorbed only by the dirt layer (such as rust, paint, scale, or soot), causing its immediate evaporation.
- No Damage to Base Material: The underlying material (metals, stone, wood, or composites) reflects the light or remains below the damaging heat threshold. The original surface is thus perfectly cleaned, without scratches, wear, or geometric alterations.
- Contactless Technology: Since there is no mechanical friction or use of abrasive particles (as in sandblasting), the process is totally non-invasive.
- 100% Eco-Friendly: The system operates without the use of water, acids, or chemical solvents. This eliminates the production of sludge or toxic residues, drastically reducing operating and disposal costs.
Pulsed Light Technology (MOPA)
- High Intensity Pulses: Releases energy in the form of very short pulse trains (in the nanosecond range) with extremely high instantaneous power peaks.
- Photomechanical Interaction: Pulverizes the contaminant by exploiting the light's shock wave; the pulse's rapidity prevents heat transfer to the substrate.
- Working Target: Specifically for high-precision operations and for treating surfaces that are delicate or sensitive to thermal shock. Ideal for conservative restoration of cultural heritage, precision industrial molds, thin car bodies, wood, and composite materials.
How to choose the energy level based on mJ
Laser energy determines the spatial distribution profile: low energies produce concentrated Gaussian distributions with high peak intensity, while high energies generate TopHat profiles with reduced intensity and a wider footprint.
- 2-5 mJ: maximum aggressiveness on refractory contaminants, high risk of substrate damage
- 15 mJ: hybrid profile, good balance between effectiveness and control
- 50-100 mJ: uniform distribution, minimizes substrate interaction, reduced aggressiveness
