Munters CELdek Pad for Cooling Systems

The CELdek pad is certainly the most efficient in terms of cooling, made of specially designed and chemically treated cellulose paper to resist deterioration while meeting Greenguard environmental certification standards, improving air quality for both humans and animals .

The unequal pad design with cross grooves promotes beneficial mixing of air and water for optimal cooling. This unique design also has the function of continuously directing more water to the air entering the pad surface, where hotter, drier, dirtier and more intense evaporation occurs.

CELdek cooling panels are designed to be used in environments that require a high degree of cooling efficiency and are particularly suitable for farms and stables. The panels are made of cellulose supports characterized by folds at different inclinations to ensure a high evaporation efficiency and at the same time an extremely low pressure drop.

They can be cut out like normal boards according to the size and shape you need.

The difference between the CELdek 7090-15 and the CELdek 7060-15 lies in the different inclination of the folds of the cellulose sheets. The CELdek 7090-15 has a first sheet with a 60 ° inclination and a second with a 30 ° inclination. Depending on the angle, the residence time of the air inside the cooling panel varies and consequently the level of moisture absorption also varies. It must therefore be taken into account that the steeper the angle, the higher the pressure loss which must be compensated for with the presence of a fan.

The water distribution panel is positioned above the cooling panel and ensures uniform water distribution to the panel thus minimizing the risk of dry spots. The water is then recirculated through a pumping station which brings it back to the top of the cooling panel. Part of the water evaporates due to the hot and dry air that passes through the panel which will then be cooled and humidified . The rest of the water contributes to washing the panel itself, then returns to the pumping station via a drainage system .
