Elicent REC Duo 100 is a ventilation and air purification system with injection and extraction system and 90% heat recovery . This controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) system is designed for both multi-room (1) and single-room (2) use thanks to the possibility of installing it in pairs even in 2 separate rooms. It is the perfect solution for maintaining a healthy environment without having to open windows and is an excellent alternative to the impossibility of installing a centralised system.

The Elicent REC Duo Evo 100 is suitable for air exchange within the same room or in two separate rooms . It requires the installation of two units that work synergistically , alternating supply and exhaust air flows at regular intervals. The so-called "push-pull" operating principle uses a ceramic heat exchanger, which stores the heat of the extracted air during the extraction cycle (pull) and then transfers it to the supplied air during the supply cycle (push).

By installing a heat recovery VMC equipped with a highly efficient filtration system with a double HEPA + G4 filter , a healthy microclimate is created, eliminating up to 99.5% of harmful particles in the air and 100% of pollen. Furthermore, by keeping the heat inside the room where the air is recirculated, heating and air conditioning costs are significantly reduced, thanks also to the high-efficiency EC motor that guarantees the VMC unit an Energy Class A rating with extremely low consumption ranging from just 1 W to a maximum of 3.5 W.

Technical Specifications

The Elicent REC Duo 100 is wall-mounted with direct exhaust and can be installed vertically or horizontally and rotated 360° depending on the available space. Its air flow rate is 12/30/40 m³/h and it is equipped with an EC motor , a highly energy-efficient motor that combines the performance of an electric motor and a traditional one, thus offering extremely low consumption ranging from just 1 to a maximum of 3.5 W.

REC Duo 100

The Elicent REC Duo 100 version has automatic 24-hour operation in heat recovery mode. Its fixed speed is selected during installation. For extraction-only operation, the appliance is equipped with a TIMER mode . It is in fact possible to choose to activate extraction-only operation at maximum speed for a period of up to 30 minutes using either the dedicated switch or the purchase of the optional RLS accessory, a remote control with speed and ignition switch functions.

REC Duo 100 MHY

In addition to the features of the basic version, this Elicent REC Duo 100 MHY also features a humidistat for humidity control. The humidity control is smart , meaning that when the set humidity threshold (adjustable between 40 and 90% relative humidity) is exceeded, the fan speed automatically increases to the necessary level.

REC Duo 100 Plus RC

This version implements the MHY model by switching from smart to smart plus humidity control, meaning that the fan speed increases according to the humidity level in push-pull mode, i.e. with alternating flow . The REC Duo 100 Plus RC is in fact equipped with a ceramic accumulator-type heat exchanger that stores the heat of the air extracted in the extraction cycle (pull) and then transfers it to the air supplied during the supply cycle (push).

Installation

The Elicent REC Duo 100 is wall-mounted by simply drilling a 107 mm diameter core into the wall , requiring no major masonry work. The "umbrella" opening and closing system for the grille on the external pipe allows for easy installation without the need for scaffolding or external work on the building's exterior when installing on upper floors. The grille is connected to a cable that uses a mechanism to close it and pass it inside the pipe, allowing it to be returned to its correct position without any complex work.

Air circulation system

Direct access to the outside allows polluted air inside a room to be exchanged with outside air, passing the new air through two highly efficient HEPA + G4 filters while retaining heat inside the room with a thermal efficiency of 90% . This eliminates the need to open windows, significantly reducing heating costs and the introduction of polluted outside air, keeping the heat inside the room and creating a healthy and purified environment.
Eliminates at least 98% of PM2.5, 95.5% of PM10 and 100% of pollen.

Simple maintenance

This decentralized CMV system solves humidity and condensation problems , making it an ideal solution for renovations and/or new buildings where a centralized ventilation system is not available. Elicent REC Duo 100 requires little and simple maintenance; simply wash the filters (even in the dishwasher) and replace them when necessary, as well as the heat exchanger, which is easily inspected and removable.

Free-Cooling function

This is a bypass function that allows you to provide comfort in every season by using only the air filter function in the summer and hot periods, eliminating heat retention and purifying the incoming air, replacing it with polluted internal air.

BOOST function

The BOOST function is the maximum speed of the VMC unit. This function generally lasts a maximum of 30 minutes before reactivating the minimum speed, but it can be managed via remote control, which allows you to set a timer from 0 to 30 minutes to extend its operation when necessary.

Wall compatibility

This Controlled Mechanical Ventilation unit is designed to fit walls 300 to 500 mm thick, but you can choose to adapt it to walls up to 1000 mm by purchasing the telescopic tube accessory 2KT0014, which allows you to adapt your unit to the thickness of your wall. If the wall is thinner, for thicknesses up to a minimum of 220 mm, you can cut the telescopic tube and use the standard MFE external grille available as accessory 2GE2002.
