Elicent REC Smart Plus with Touch Control - Controlled Mechanical Ventilation Unit

Elicent REC Smart Plus is a controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) system and is the ideal solution for air exchange in a single room or for localized humidity problems . Its operating principle is based on heat recovery via an exchanger, within which both flows (supply/extraction) pass simultaneously.

The Elicent REC Smart Plus is a decentralized device for recirculating air within rooms and homes, enabling heat recovery. This device features a remote touch control system and is designed to promote air exchange and recirculation without the heat loss that would occur if windows were opened. The Elicent REC Smart+ can recover up to 75% of heat , up to a maximum temperature of 50°C. This solution provides a healthy environment and saves on heating costs, representing an excellent alternative to installing a centralized system.

By installing a heat recovery mechanical ventilation unit (CMV) , equipped with a highly efficient filtration system including a double HEPA + G4 filter, a healthy microclimate is created. This system eliminates up to 99.5% of harmful particles in the air, as well as 100% of pollen. Furthermore, by maintaining heat within the room where air is recirculated, it is possible to significantly reduce heating and air conditioning costs and eliminate mold and condensation .

Touch Control

The Elicent REC Smart Plus features a touchscreen remote control that allows you to select different operating modes and program it on a weekly basis , including night mode and extraction-only mode. These functions are also indicated by LED lights on the VMC unit, along with an indicator for any anomalies.
The following functions can be managed via the touch device:

• SLEEP mode (for extra quiet operation at minimum speed during night hours)
• TIMER mode (adjustable from 0 to 30 minutes designed to delay the automatic switch-off of maximum speed)

Air circulation system

Taking advantage of direct access to the outside, the Elicent REC Smart+ exchanges polluted air inside a room with outside air by passing the new air through two highly efficient HEPA + G4 filters. While recirculating the air, heat is retained inside the room with a thermal efficiency of 75% . This method avoids opening windows, significantly reducing heating costs and the introduction of polluted outside air. The result is a healthy and purified environment, eliminating at least 98% of PM2.5 particles, 95.5% of PM10 particles and 100% of pollen.

Installation

The Elicent REC Smart + is installed by simply drilling a 100 mm hole in the wall , without requiring complex masonry work. Thanks to an umbrella-like opening and closing system on the outer tube, the device can be easily installed without scaffolding or external intervention, even in buildings on upper floors. The cap is connected to a cable that, through a system, closes it and passes it inside the tube, allowing it to be repositioned easily.

Simple maintenance

This decentralized CMV ventilation system effectively solves humidity and condensation problems , making it the ideal option for renovations or new builds without a centralized ventilation system. Maintenance of the Elicent REC Smart is simple and requires only a few steps: the filters can be washed, even in the dishwasher, and replaced when necessary. The exchanger is easily inspected and removable for convenient cleaning.

Technical Specifications

The Elicent REC Smart Plus is wall-mounted with direct exhaust and can be installed vertically or horizontally, swiveling 360° to accommodate available space. Its air flow rate is 27/53 m³/h and it features an EC motor , a highly energy-efficient motor that combines the performance of an electric motor and a traditional one, thus offering extremely low consumption ranging from just 8 to a maximum of 28 W.

Speed Regulation and Humidistat

The Elicent REC Smart Plus is designed for 24-hour continuous operation at minimum speed. The unit switches to maximum speed by selecting the mode on the included remote control. These models are equipped with the MHY Smart function, which progressively increases the speed based on the humidity level detected by the built-in humidistat. When the detected humidity level returns within the preset range (adjustable between 40% and 90% relative humidity), the unit automatically switches to minimum speed.

BOOST function

The BOOST function is the maximum speed of the VMC unit. This function generally lasts a maximum of 30 minutes before reactivating the minimum speed, but it can be managed via remote control, which allows you to set a timer from 0 to 30 minutes to extend its operation when necessary.

Bypass function

Equipped with a by-pass function, this decentralized ventilation unit is able to provide comfort in every season by using only the air filter function in the summer and hot periods, eliminating heat retention and purifying the incoming air, replacing it with polluted internal air.
