ATEX Infrared Heating Lamp for Environments
The Helios Radiant Safe Industry ATEX Infrared Heating Lamps are designed for environments with the presence of potentially explosive and flammable gases and dust . These are Professional Lamps for areas classified as Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (Dust) , ideal for systems subject to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU .
The watertight structure in die-cast aluminum with IP66 protection rating and safety valve in AISI 316 stainless steel guarantees maximum operational safety.
These ATEX infrared lamps for industrial use prevent the entry of dangerous gases thanks to a patented and certified system . The 45° wall installation allows for efficient distribution of radiant heat, covering up to 15 m2 (EHSAFE15VR model) and 20 m2 (EHSAFE20VR model), ensuring high-performance heating.

Functional specifications
ATEX Certified Infrared Heating
The infrared heating system allows the direct transmission of heat to people and surfaces without dispersion into the air, an essential feature in industrial environments subject to forced ventilation.
The presence of an AISI 316 stainless steel safety valve and full Ex II 3G / Ex II 3D marking ensures compliance with the EN 60079-0, EN 60079-15 and EN 60079-31 standards . This makes ATEX certified infrared lamps suitable for chemical, petrochemical and manufacturing industries with potentially explosive atmospheres.
Long-lasting bulbs
Special InfraCalor bulbs made for specific needs with a very long lifespan.
You can request replacement bulbs for the lamp in question.
Safety and operation checks
The heater uses special symmetrical reflectors that are able to optimize the performance of the infrared rays, exploiting different parabolic curvatures depending on the sectors of use.
Compared to gas and air heating systems, these products offer simple installation and a targeted distribution of heat sources . This offers several advantages:
- 70% reduction in heating costs thanks to targeted heat
- 50% savings on installation costs (only one electrical cable needs to be connected)
- 40% savings on equipment costs thanks to their high efficiency
Hot air tends to rise, arranges itself in layers and disperses through the openings.
The heat is directed to the areas of interest and maintained without dispersion.
