GH OMV-1650 / OMV-2250 - Fast Medium Wave Infrared Heating Lamps

OMV-1650 and OMV-2250 Electric Infrared Heaters for professional infrared heating in industrial and commercial applications with high installation heights. This product is designed for professional use , providing highly efficient localized heating in complex environments such as industrial warehouses, churches, sports halls, machine shops, and large passageways.

These heating lamps feature a high-power IRK XL lamp specifically designed with rapid and controlled IR-B medium wave emission, which allows for greater heat diffusion capacity, ensuring uniform, intense, and comfortable heat distribution. Equipped with a reflective body in Specular Tex® grade electro-polished aluminum and an IP24 protection rating , they are also suitable for covered outdoor installations and continuous professional settings, with a prominent feature in the ability to heat workstations even at very great distances.

Fast Medium Wave Infrared IR-B

These types of infrared waves have a greater heat diffusion capacity , ensuring uniform, intense, and comfortable heat distribution. This phenomenon is attributable to the wave's limited penetration into the air and maintains the heat even after switching off. Fast medium waves are the most widely used in industrial settings due to their better power/heat distribution ratio .

Medium wave quartz lamps can reach operating temperature in about 40 seconds . Furthermore, fast medium infrared waves emit very little visible light , and the bulb temperature can reach 500°C.

Technical Specifications

The OMV-1650 and OMV-2250 professional infrared lamps have a single-phase 230V power supply and are equipped with a special translucent quartz infrared lamp , custom-built with a Teflon cable and silicone fiberglass coating to ensure thermal resistance and long-term reliability. With an IP24 protection rating , they ensure safe use in industrial and commercial environments with humidity or light dust.

These infrared heaters are equipped with a SUPERMIRROR reflector in aluminum with extremely high reflective power that optimizes thermal output and energy distribution, while the optimized symmetrical diffusion allows uniform irradiation of surfaces and people, even in installations with significant heights.

Short Wave Lamp with Larger Dimensions

The short-wave infrared heating system allows heat to be transferred directly and immediately to surfaces and people, making the OMV-1650 and OMV-2250 models particularly effective for workstations, sports areas and industrial environments where air heating would be inefficient.
The IRK XL lamp has a longer length than market standards, ensuring a larger emission area and high specific power.

High efficiency SUPERMIRROR reflector

The interchangeable monoblock reflective body with SUPERMIRROR technology guarantees extremely high optical efficiency, maximising the efficiency of the professional infrared heater and reducing lateral dispersion , a fundamental aspect for applications in warehouses, depots and showrooms.

Diffusing or concentrating optics for specific applications

The standard optic with a wide beam is ideal for uniform area coverage, while the optional narrow beam optic allows the heat to be focused on specific areas, increasing the application flexibility of the professional radiant heating system.

Made in Italy with Hand Assembly

The OMV-1650 and OMV-2250 models are designed, built and assembled by hand in Italy , with a smooth, scratch-resistant epoxy powder coating also suitable for covered outdoor use, ensuring reliability, durability and consistent performance in contexts such as churches, airports, train stations, shopping centres and professional rentals.
