The Airmec Chipper GZ 420/120L-E HS petrol-powered shredder is a professional and powerful solution for garden maintenance and plant waste management. Ideal for shredding branches and logs up to 12 cm in diameter on green wood, it is built with the highest quality materials and a durable gray/black paint finish, designed to last. The cutting system features two 22 cm blades and 10 mobile shredding hammers. The blades perform an initial process, shredding the first part of the material present in the hopper. Functional Specifications

Loncin G420FD 420cc engine

The Airmec Chipper GZ 420/120L-E HS shredder is equipped with a 420 cc Loncin G420FD engine , capable of delivering 9 kW of nominal power and ensuring consistent performance even during the most demanding jobs. The manual and electric starting system offers maximum convenience, while the 6.5 L petrol tank ensures extended autonomy. Its low noise level ( 70 dB at 7 metres ) makes it ideal even in residential areas.

Professional cutting system

The steel cutting mass includes a disc with two 22 cm main blades and 10 moving hammers . This design allows for rapid and uniform shredding, with a “scissor” effect on the first cut and the production of fine wood chips (1–1.5 cm). It is therefore perfect for preparing material for pelleting or composting.

Unified hopper and emergency stop system

The large steel hopper (66x65 cm) allows for the insertion of bulky branches without pre-cutting. The automatic toothed roller, operated by a hydraulic system with a reversing lever, facilitates the transport of material and allows any blockages to be cleared without turning the machine off. The emergency system with a red bar immediately stops the engine, ensuring maximum operator safety. The engine stops completely in approximately 1 minute.

Double belt transmission and 360° exhaust

The double belt transmission reduces stress and extends the machine's life compared to traditional models. The 360° rotatable discharge chute allows the wood chips to be directed where needed, even into bins or hard-to-reach areas. The 16" pneumatic wheels , towing hitch, and stable support foot facilitate transport and positioning.

Hydraulic system with 3 working positions

The hydraulic system positioned under the funnel is equipped with 3 working positions, forward - neutral - reverse and allows the machine to reverse the direction of rotation of the toothed rotor which facilitates the insertion or ejection of the inserted wood, helping the operator in the event of a blockage or in the event of work being suspended without having to turn off the machine.

Automatic Drag Roller

The Airmec shredder is equipped with a toothed roller for automatic feeding , operated by a hydraulic pump, which facilitates the insertion and expulsion of branches, if necessary or if they become blocked, thanks also to the anti-jamming system . If the toothed rotor becomes blocked during shredding, a lever on the loading hopper acts on the hydraulic valves that control the motor and reverses the direction of rotation of the rotor itself, unblocking it.

Adjustment lever

This is a hydraulic lever positioned on the side of the funnel and regulates the rotation speed of the toothed drive roller, facilitating the machine's work.
