Technical specifications

The FBC CIP.8 wood chipper is powered by a powerful single-cylinder petrol engine , available in two configurations: the 11.7 HP (8.7 kW) Honda GX390 or, alternatively, the 11 HP (8.2 kW) Loncin G390F . Both engines guarantee high reliability, optimised fuel consumption and constant performance even during long work cycles. The power transmission system takes place via belts and pulleys connected to the flywheel , ensuring smooth operation and reduced mechanical maintenance.

In terms of operating capacity, the shredder can process branches up to 80 mm in diameter , with an hourly production rate of between 4 and 7 m³/h (variable depending on the material being processed and the operator's skill). Material introduction is facilitated by a single, generously sized hopper , while the chip discharge height of 155 cm allows for comfortable work even in confined spaces or with tall containers.

Professional cutting system with blade and moving hammers

The heart of the FBC CIP.8 is its professional cutting system , consisting of a main blade , an L-shaped counterblade and six S-shaped mobile hammers . This configuration allows for a double crushing action: the first clean cut is made by the blade and the counterblade, while the hammers take care of the final reduction of the material into fine chips , suitable for composting or mulching.

High efficiency self-powered system

The FBC CIP.8 is equipped with a mechanical self-feeding system , in which the shape and inclination of the hopper, combined with the action of the cutting unit, facilitate the natural movement of the material.
