OPERATION
The Fral EVC 80 is an evaporative cooler that uses water evaporation to lower the ambient temperature.
This evaporative cooler mainly consists of a panel where water is distributed by a pump. The hot air in the environment is drawn through this moist material by a fan.
The cooling process begins when the hot air absorbs the moisture present in the porous material, and the evaporated water absorbs the heat in the air, thus reducing its temperature.
Consequently, the cooled air is blown into the surrounding environment through grilles or openings, creating a pleasant cooling effect.
It is important to note that evaporative cooling works best in locations with low humidity, as the air has a greater capacity to absorb moisture. In very humid environments, the air has a limited capacity to absorb additional moisture, thus reducing the effectiveness of the cooling process.
