Helvi SpotCar EVO 5000 - Three-phase Spot Welding Machine

Helvi SpotCar EVO 5000 is a spot welder designed for a wide range of industrial and craft applications. This highly efficient and compact 400 V three-phase welder is ideal for car body repairs .

The Helvi SpotCar spot welder features 50% capacity power at 6 kVA , with secondary capacity at 13 kVA , thus being able to handle heavy loads while maintaining its energy efficiency .

Supplied with gun , ground cable and accessory kit .

Helvi SpotCar EVO 5000 spot welder is a three-phase machine for professional use with 50% power of 6 kVA , secondary power of 13 kVA , no-load voltage of 7.5 V , out amperage of 3600 A and maximum out amperage of 5000 A.

Electrical protection is guaranteed thanks to the T20 A delayed fuse , which ensures the machine operates safely even in the event of overload or short circuit . To increase the safety of the Helvi SpotCar EVO 5000 welding machine, there is class H insulation and the IP22S protection rating . The dimensions of 25 x 37 x 28 cm allow this compact machine to be positioned anywhere, the weight is 28.7 kg .

Types of welding possible with Helvi SpotCar EVO 5000

SPOT WELDERS : Spot welders, electric resistance spot welders or also called pressure spot welders, generate heat at the contact points between two metal parts by electrical resistance. The heat developed by the current is proportional to the electrical resistance of the conductors. Spot welding is generally used to weld steels and is performed in three phases.

The electrodes are brought close to the surface of the parts to be welded and the pressure required to compress the parts together is applied. A preset current is passed through the electrodes. Welding is controlled by adjusting the current intensity and the time during which the current passes through the contact point.

The electrodes are moved away from the surfaces of the piece, which are thus joined by a small molten and solidified volume. At the point of contact between two metal objects, the resistance is greater than that of the metal, therefore the passage of current causes the area near the contact to overheat and if the current is sufficiently high, the two objects fuse and therefore weld.
