In the compressed air, together with dust and oil vapors, there is a quantity of humidity coming from the external environment which can lead to the formation of condensation. Therefore, for a correct functioning of the pneumatic equipment, it is necessary to drastically reduce the degree of relative humidity present in the compressed air.
Generally in pneumatic installations, between the air compressor and the equipment used, it is recommended to implement components and equipment dedicated to the treatment of compressed air. These devices find greater use especially where the quality and purity of the compressed air are fundamental, such as in the installations of medical compressors.
In addition to solid residues and oil vapors, the compressed air that is emitted by the compressors also has a percentage of humidity from the external environment which can cause condensation to form. To avoid this formation of condensation, the Fiac TDRY refrigeration cycle dryer comes into play, which reduces the relative humidity of the compressed air from the compressor, thus guaranteeing quality compressed air.
Fiac TDRY is a refrigeration cycle dryer basically equipped with an internal circuit through which a refrigerant gas flows which, through the cooling phases of the incoming compressed air, condensation of humidity, separation and timed discharge, reduces the relative humidity of the air compressed at the outlet of the dryer up to a dew point (2-3 ° C temperature in which the air becomes saturated with water vapor).
