Technical Specifications

This STIHL MSA 60 chainsaw is equipped with a highly energy-efficient EC brushless motor, which is lightweight, requires minimal maintenance, and offers a long service life. Compatible with the STIHL AK 36 V battery line (max. 40 V), this chainsaw has an absorbed power of 0.90 kW (output power of 0.70 kW). Power management is optimized by intelligent electronic technology, which ensures constant power throughout the entire battery charge.

The cutting assembly consists of a 30 cm guide bar, 1/4" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain pitch, and a 1.10 mm groove for smooth penetration into the wood. In combination with the recommended AK 20 battery, the machine ensures an operating autonomy of up to 40 minutes of continuous work. The acoustic impact is limited to only 91 dB(A) sound power level, ensuring optimal working comfort.

The EC brushless motor combines a compact structure with low weight to offer high energy efficiency and consistent performance in the field. Quick Tensioning System

Chain tension adjustment is performed quickly and safely without the need for additional tools, thanks to the dedicated adjustment knob. The automatic locking of the guide bar and the transparent oil tank for immediate visual check of the lubricant optimize daily maintenance times.

Soft-touch Handle and Ergo Lever

The rear control handle made of soft material ensures a firm and comfortable grip even in humid conditions, reducing vibration transmission to the operator. The integrated Ergo lever allows for immediate restart without needing to unlock the device each time, provided one hand maintains grip on the rear handle.

QuickStop Super Braking System

The two-handed control managed via the ergonomic tubular handle ensures complete control of the device in any working position. Safety is further enhanced by the QuickStop Super braking system, which instantly activates the chain brake as soon as the rear handle is released or in case of kickback.
