The Deca SM 608 battery charger is an automatic battery charger with a maintenance charge program (pulse charge). It is particularly suitable for keeping the battery of scooters, motorcycles or cars always ready for use.

Which Batteries Charging

Suitable for charging Lead / Acid and Ca / Ca batteries:

• WET : lead-acid batteries where the positive and negative plates are immersed in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. They are both airtight and equipped with maintenance plugs. It is the most used type of battery in the automotive industry. They can be low maintenance or maintenance free (MF)

• AGM : sealed lead-acid batteries with electrolyte immobilized in an absorbent material. In gas recombination batteries (AGM - Absorbed Glass Mat) the plate, the electrolytic solution and the polymer and silicon fiber separators are spirally wound; they are lead-tin continuous band batteries. AGM batteries are maintenance-free batteries with a high starting point, designed for use in extreme and severe situations. They withstand intense charging and discharging cycles.

• GEL : these batteries are Lead-Calcium batteries in which the positive and negative plates are immersed in a gelatinous solution. They are hermetically sealed and do not need maintenance. They are very sturdy and for this reason they are particularly suitable for use on motorcycles, off-road vehicles, machinery and boats.

• Calcium / Calcium : In these batteries the positive and negative plates have been replaced by a calcium alloy. Thanks to this technology, they offer a very limited loss of liquid and natural discharge; They are therefore ideal for storage of units.
