The Spotcool Trotec PT 3500 SP mobile air conditioner is a mobile cooler with 4 functions in 1: targeted cooling , whole-room cooling , fan and professional dehumidifier for large rooms. Thanks to the presence of two orientable cold air outlets , this air conditioner allows you to distribute cool air in all directions. Each of the ducts can be tilted by 150° and rotated 360°.

The Trotec PT 3500 SP also features a vertical hot air exhaust duct : the heat generated by the device is expelled in another direction, with the possibility of installing an optional 7.6 metre extra air transport duct for greater flexibility of use.

Ready to use with no installation required , the PT 3500 SP boasts a cooling power of 3.5 kW (12000 Btu/h) and an air volume of 600 m³/h , ensuring instant cooling.

Its ease of use, combined with an excellent price-performance ratio, makes it ideal for localized cooling in workshops, warehouses, industrial kitchens, server rooms and plant rooms, as well as for events, welding work and the catering sector.

Technical Specifications

The PT 3500 SP spot cooler air conditioner combines power and compactness to offer targeted and efficient cooling in rooms with temperatures between 18°C and 45°C . With a capacity of 3.5 kW (12,000 Btu/h) and an air flow rate of 600 m³/h , it ensures even distribution of cool air thanks to its axial fan.

With a single-phase 230V connection , the PT 3500 SP mobile cooler absorbs 1700 W of power with a nominal current of 6.2 A, guaranteeing energy efficiency and excellent performance. Its structure is designed for practical and immediate use, with a cold air outlet duct 385 mm long and 120 mm in diameter , as well as a vertical hot air exhaust pipe Ø 200 mm x 350 mm in length .

Equipped with a condensate collection tank with a lighted filling indicator , the Trotec PT 3500 SP offers simple and trouble-free operation. Furthermore, it has a noise level of 57 dB(A) at one meter.

This mobile cooler also features an electronic thermostat with dual digital indicator and LED display with membrane keys.

Ecological Refrigerant

This air conditioner uses R290 propane as a refrigerant, a natural organic compound belonging to the hydrocarbon class. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, eco-friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP = 3).

Furthermore, thanks to its exceptional thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and further reduces energy costs.

4 functions in 1

Trotec spotcooler PT 3500 SP has 4 function modes:

1. Room cooling
   In this mode, the PT 3500 SP operates like a traditional monoblock air conditioner , efficiently cooling the room air. The built-in thermostat constantly monitors the temperature and automatically adjusts the flow of cold air to ensure the desired temperature is reached. Once the set value is reached, the device optimizes operation to maintain comfort without wasting energy.
   
   
2. Targeted cooling of a specific point
   In targeted cooling mode, the PT 3500 SP directs cold air exactly where it's needed, thanks to two adjustable ducts. Unlike ambient cooling, in this mode the room temperature is irrelevant: simply set the desired exhaust temperature using the thermostat. This allows the device to be placed in an adjacent room and the cold air flow to be directed to the area to be cooled via flexible ducts, thus ensuring effective cooling without taking up space in the main room.
   
   
3. Dehumidification function
   This mode allows for targeted dehumidification of the room air, helping improve comfort and air quality by removing excess humidity. To optimize the process, the fan power is reduced to a minimum, ensuring effective action without energy loss.
   
   
4. Ventilation function
   This function is ideal when, instead of cooling the air, you want to cool it like with a fan . In this energy-saving mode , the compressor is deactivated while all fan functions remain available.
