Munters EDT30HE Industrial Air Circulator

Munters EDT30HE air circulators are designed to eliminate stratified heat, humidity and stagnant air. The uniquely designed fan is self-cleaning and, together with the flow straighteners, allows for maximum efficiency .

The case and the fan are made of "Munters Protect" and are equipped with safety nets painted with epoxy powder and screws made of stainless steel to allow greater robustness and high resistance.

The 3-blade fan is statically and dynamically balanced to minimize vibration and noise.

This air circulator is equipped with double protection net to ensure maximum safety during operation and prevent the entry of foreign objects.

For better aerodynamic efficiency, the air circulator was developed by the research and development laboratory of Munters Italia. The laboratory test chamber was built in compliance with ANSI/AMCA 210-85 Figure 15. The construction details and the airtightness of the chamber were verified by the personnel of the BESS Lab of the Agricultural Engineering Faculty of the University of Illinois – USA.

In agriculture, corrosion is usually caused by a combination of many factors such as pH, high humidity, frequent contact with water, harsh chemicals from manure or disinfectants, etc. The industry is also constantly evolving and this can have surprising side effects: new agricultural chemicals or feed additives may do wonders for plant health, but they will also increase the corrosion of the fan metal.

To provide an effective solution to corrosion problems, Munters has switched to using a new material, called Munters Protect , which offers extremely high protection against corrosion . It consists of a coating made of zinc, aluminum and magnesium and offers the best corrosion resistance performance, up to 10 times better than galvanized steel .

Fields of Application

The possible applications of air circulators are truly multiple. They range from the removal of stratified air due to heat, to those for the elimination of odors and volatile substances accumulated inside the systems. Air circulators are also used in livestock farms, greenhouses and in combination with cooling systems to improve the distribution of air flows.
