Munters EDC GHp 18'' 24'' - Air Circulator for Industrial and Agricultural Use 0.5 HP

The Munters EDC GHp is an industrial fan designed to ensure efficient air circulation in greenhouses and livestock environments. Compact, quiet, and highly corrosion-resistant, it ensures even temperature and humidity distribution, improving agricultural productivity and animal welfare.

This air circulator is equipped with a GRILLE to ensure maximum safety during operation and prevent the entry of foreign objects.

Technical specifications

The EDC18GHp model features a 450 mm propeller and 0.5 HP motor with a nominal speed of 1400 RPM , generating an air flow of 5,260 m³/h and consuming up to 620 W. The EDC24GHp model is fitted with a 600 mm propeller, rotating at 900 RPM and producing an air flow of 7,800 m³/h , for a maximum consumption of 500 W. Both models are built in steel protected with Munters Protect coating , guaranteeing durability in aggressive environments.

Munters Protect Anti-Corrosion Fans

To meet these challenges, Munters developed Munters Protect , an innovative fan blade material that is more corrosion resistant than AISI 430 stainless steel and pre-painted metal. The result of advanced manufacturing processes, it offers greater durability , reliability , and performance in the most demanding conditions. The following images show a comparison after 700 hours of salt spray exposure : the SS 430 stainless steel blades (left) show obvious signs of wear, while the Munters Protect blades (right) maintain a healthy, durable appearance .
