The EnerSys 12 MFP 50 battery is part of the Powerbloc Dry MFP series, which is a series of batteries that are totally maintenance-free thanks to the electrolyte immobilized inside a particular gel.

The MFP series is made up of special alloy grid plates with gelled electrolyte to ensure high durability and is characterized by high susceptibility to high currents , reduced self-discharge and is not very sensitive to temperature variations .

The 12 MFP 50 battery is designed for applications with medium duty cycles .
