EN 50365 standard

The EN 50365 standard specifies the requirements for insulating helmets to be used when working under voltage or near live parts. They protect the wearer from electric shock and, when used in conjunction with other insulating equipment, prevent electric current from flowing through the head to the human body.

Requirements:

• Protection against alternating voltages not exceeding 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC
• Insulating helmets must not contain conductive components .
• Ventilation openings (if present) must not allow accidental contact with live components .

D-CORE TECHNOLOGY Helmet inner shell designed with a low density internal core to improve protection against summit impacts ( HD expanded polystyrene ).

HD-CROWN PROTECTION High-density internal shell that provides greater impact absorption and protection of the internal core. Durable and easy to clean .

CLICK-IN FRONT PADDING Internal front padding developed for maximum breathability and optimal sweat absorption . Removable padding with click-in system for easy replacement and washing ( soft PA nylon )

DRY+ Innovative fabric featuring breathable Hydrocool technology and exceptionally soft fibres for increased comfort . Anti-odour treatment with silver ions .

ADAPTIVE FIT SYSTEM: A three-component size adjustment system for maximum all-day comfort . A new double dial makes size adjustment easier. Ergonomic side wings ensure a quick and secure fit at the nape of the neck. The patented Self Adaptive Live Hinge system is the latest technology that automatically adapts to the wearer's movements.

OPTIMIZED STRAP Newly designed eco-leather chin strap with new rear adjustment points for a customized fit . Allows for a wide range of sizes and accommodates the use of ear defenders . The color of the buckle indicates which EN standard the strap complies with.

CLICK-IN SYSTEM Patented attachment system for the internal padding which improves its durability , replacement and removal .

HD POLYPROPYLENE OUTER SHELL Lightweight , high-density polypropylene outer shell with dramatically improved performance. Excellent impact absorption , especially at low temperatures ( -30°C ). Resistant to color degradation.

ELECTRICAL HAZARD PROTECTION The helmet meets class E (electricity) protection requirements. Tested at 20,000 V.

ELECTRIC SHOCK PROTECTION 50365 Protection against potential contact when working with or near live parts on low voltage installations not exceeding 1000 V or 1500 V.

DIVIDER FOR LATERAL ADJUSTMENT Lateral adjustment point on the chin strap to adjust and customize the fit.

HELMET HOLDER RING Strap equipped with a ring for attaching the helmet. Designed to allow the helmet to be securely attached to the harness or other equipment.

FRONT ACCESSORY MOUNT Front attachment point for easy integration of accessories such as badge holders and headlamps. Includes a debris cap .

REMOVABLE LAMP CLIPS Equipped with 4 removable nylon lamp clips. Compatible with KASK headlamps with elastic bands.

LAMP CLIP WITH EARPLUG HOLDER Lamp clips designed on the back with supports for positioning the earplug wire.

COMPATIBILITY FOR NOISE-PROTECTING HEADPHONES Helmet designed with standard EURO 30 mm slots for the application of KASK ear defenders .

HI-VIZ NAME TAGS High visibility tag on the back of the helmet for easy identification .
