Genmac Combipro G5500-M5 - Three-Phase Trailer Generator

The Genmac Combipro G5500-M5 three-phase generators, thanks to their construction and high technological standards, are among the quietest in their category. These machines feature an oversized muffler and side panels; these panels are covered with a recyclable, washable, Class 1, fireproof, and self-extinguishing sound-absorbing polyester material . They also feature an epoxy powder coating, making the generator ideal for outdoor use.

The compact and sturdy structure features anti-vibration mounts, wheels, and a handle integrated into the frame. The large, double-reinforced transport wheels have a diameter of 300 mm, and the retractable handle can be folded away to keep it out of the way when not in use. A large support at the front prevents the generator from sinking into the ground.

The front panel features a small canopy and a rear panel that provide protection and insulation from water . The panel is composed as follows:

Tank and Engine

The Genmac Combipro G5500-M5 have a large 25-litre tank with a large cap that is easy to unscrew even when wearing work gloves; they are equipped with a filter, a fuel level indicator , and a manual fuel circuit shut-off tap to prevent leaks.

These Genmac generators are powered by a powerful Honda OHV 4-stroke petrol engine . These premium quality engines deliver low fuel consumption and efficient combustion, and also offer low oil level protection that will shut down the engine .

The Combipro G5500 HAC-M5 model with Honda iGX engine comes with electronic speed replication that makes the generated current stable in both voltage (AVR) and frequency . Ideal for sensitive electronic equipment that requires stable current and voltage.

Compared to the GX series, this HAC generator has very advanced features:

• Electronic speed regulator to ensure speed stability as the load varies
• Presence of various pre-set modes
• Automatic starter system even in the absence of a battery

All models are equipped with an alternator with class H insulation.

AVR Voltage Regulator

All Genmac Combipro series generators can be ordered with an AVR voltage regulator . The AVR keeps the output voltage more constant and less dependent on the load . The use of this board allows for fewer current drops or peaks, which improves the performance and life of the appliances connected to the generator.

The model equipped with an AVR board is highly recommended , as it allows for a significant improvement in the stability of the output voltage, making it ideal for use with commonly used machines with reactive loads such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and garden machinery.

Three-phase versions with Compound regulation

The Genmac Combipro G5500 three-phase generator uses new-generation alternators that combine compound regulation and AVR. This system offers several advantages:

• High starting capacity : ideal for use with submersible pumps, UPSs, electric motors, inverter welders, concrete mixers, etc.
• Reinforced phase : there is no single-phase power loss, which is therefore equal to 66% of the three-phase power
• Stabilized current (+/- 1%) : ideal for powering electronic equipment, computers, etc.
