How an Inverter Compressor Works

A variable-speed compressor like the Abac Genesis I has lower peaks and a more consistent air production profile. The variable-speed compressor's curve is different because it adjusts the airend's speed based on air demand, thus producing only the amount needed at that specific moment . This is achieved by a pressure sensor that reports the pressure value to the controller , which in turn sends a signal to the inverter with information on the situation. The inverter serves to adjust the motor speed based on the pressure settings.
