The Biemmedue DR 2021 line of dehumidifiers are high-quality, robust, and reliable machines designed for indoor humidity control. Furthermore, the Biemmedue DR 70 dehumidifier is ideal for dehumidifying dry areas, residential areas, archives, and storage centers, as well as for drying after floods and water damage.
The Biemmedue DR 70 dehumidifier is capable of extracting 70 L of condensation water in 24 hours in ambient conditions of 32°C with 90% relative humidity.
DR dehumidifiers offer significant energy and cost savings thanks to their advanced electronic control , which allows the machine to be adjusted to the needs of the environment without waste . This is also enabled by a built-in thermo-hygrostat that automatically detects the room temperature and tells the dehumidifier which dehumidification levels to maintain.

The refrigerant gas used in Biemmedue DR professional dehumidifiers is R454C , meaning it contains very low GWP values , which refers to the gas's impact on global warming. The use of gases with high GWPs will be gradually phased out in the future to reduce emissions that contribute to global warming. Therefore, it's a good idea to equip yourself with dehumidifiers that use this type of gas now to avoid having to replace them prematurely in the future.
Specifically, the Biemmedue DR 70 Professional Dehumidifier can be equipped with an optional accessory called the 2-pipe Hot Air Delivery Kit for Cavities, which allows heated dry air to be sent into cavities. The accessory is equipped with a powerful centrifugal fan that blows dehumidified dry air into two 100mm diameter tubes up to 6m long each (tubes not included in the kit).
When choosing your Biemmedue Professional Dehumidifier, it's essential to consider its dehumidification capacity, expressed in liters over 24 hours (L/24h). This value indicates how much water the Biemmedue dehumidifier in question is able to extract from the humidity in the environment in which it is located. Dehumidifiers with high capacities can work in large spaces and dry in less time in small ones . Conversely, dehumidifiers with low dehumidification capacities can work better in smaller spaces .
It is also essential to observe the required air flow rate, that is, how much air the machine is able to remove in an hour to properly treat the environment in which it operates.
In the case of the Biemmedue DR 70 dehumidifier in question, this is suitable for rooms with volumes from 300 m³ to 400 m³ .

The Biemmedue DR line models are equipped with an electronic humidistat and modern electronic control, which together optimize the dehumidifier's use by operating it only when necessary. Furthermore, thanks to the soft-touch display, you can personally set the humidity levels you want to maintain in your work environment.
During operation, the electronic control displays the current humidity and temperature values in the room, to ensure control over the climate data of the surrounding environment.
Furthermore, the electronic control manages two hour counters: one resettable and one cumulative: essential and practical for rental.
Biemmedue dehumidifiers are self-contained devices that require no installation to operate; they simply plug into the electrical outlet. This professional dehumidifier consists of a closed circuit containing an environmentally friendly refrigerant, a compressor, a condenser, a capillary tube, an evaporator, and a fan.

Biemmedue dehumidifiers are self-contained devices that require no installation, simply by plugging them into the electrical mains.
The dehumidifier consists of a closed circuit containing an ecological refrigerant fluid, having the following main elements:
When the ambient temperature is below certain values (15°/18°C), the temperature of the evaporator surfaces drops in turn, causing ice to form which limits the passage of air, compromising the proper functioning of the system.
To overcome this potential inconvenience, the automatic defrost function is provided, which consists in the possibility of heating the evaporator when the probe detects temperatures that are too low.
In this case, through a by-pass valve (n°4), the compressor directly introduces the gas into the evaporator, without passing through the condenser, causing an increase in temperature.
The bypass circuit closes automatically when the probe detects a higher temperature and the dehumidification cycle resumes normally.
It's important to note that this defrosting system ensures the dehumidifier returns to full efficiency after just a few seconds; furthermore, it's the only defrosting system that allows the dehumidifier to operate at full efficiency even at very low air temperatures (below 8/10°C).
