Fral FS70- Ceiling Dehumidifier for Pools

Chlorine-resistant dehumidifier , Fral FS70 was designed to dehumidify areas with swimming pools , thanks to its particular chlorine-resistant shape. Silent and with a delivery plenum , Fral FS70 is complete with silencer and dehumidifier . This ceiling dehumidifier can be combined with the FR series heat recovery unit.

With a nominal power of 870 W and a FRA inrush current of 25 A , Fral FS70, in conditions of 80% humidity and 30 °C ambient temperature, is capable of collecting up to 55 L in 24 hours .

How a fixed dehumidifier works

Fral fixed dehumidifiers allow you to control the level of humidity in the air, avoiding damage to objects and electrical systems or the formation of mold, peeling paint and fogging of windows and glass. All this happens except for the recirculation of filtered air deprived of humidity thanks to the use of specific fans.

Fral FS70 also has the particularity of being able to be positioned as a ceiling dehumidifier . This can be a better solution to make the most of an indoor pool because, thanks to the maintenance of humidity at the desired levels , you can avoid the fogging of the glass by limiting the phenomenon of evaporation of hot water which makes the use of the pool itself uncomfortable while damaging the components and surfaces.

Functional specifications

Galvanized steel structure and hermetic compressor

The Fral dehumidifiers of this series are made of a hot-dip galvanized steel body , with removable panels to facilitate inspection and extraordinary maintenance . Usable in environments with swimming pools , the structure is completely painted . The compressor of the Fral FS70 is hermetic alternative , with a thermal protection device and acoustic insulation , mounted on anti-vibration mounts in order to reduce vibrations.

Refrigeration circuit and condensation collection

The refrigeration circuit is hermetic . Composed of evaporator and condenser in copper tubes and 2.8 mm aluminum fins. Capillary , silica gel dryer filter . For swimming pool environment the evaporator must be painted against corrosion.

Fan, filter and condensation tray

The fan is centrifugal , in thermoplastic material equipped with a 144 mm diameter impeller. Motor with capacitor and 3-speed selector, low noise. The filter of this Fral dehumidifier is made of synthetic and washable material . The condensation collection tray is in AISI 304 stainless steel.

Microprocessor

The Fral FS70 microprocessor controls defrosting, compressor delay and alarms. Protection devices include a pressure switch for lack of water and, in the deu-clima version, in the event of fan failure.

Testing

Refrigerant circuit leak tests, electrical discharge tests and functional tests are performed.

Technical specifications

The Fral FS70 anti-corrosion dehumidifier is 230V with a maximum absorbed power of 870 W and a nominal air flow rate of 550 m³/h. In the case of using electric resistances, the maximum absorbed power will be 1210 W.

The FRA inrush current is 25 A while the sound pressure at 3 meters away is 45 dB(A) .

The refrigerant gas used is R134a.

The operating range is between 10÷33 °C .
