Fral FD3000 - Professional dehumidifier for industry
The Fral FD3000 dehumidifier is entirely built in Italy and is part of the Fral FD range, the range of professional dehumidifiers designed for industrial, commercial and even agri-food environments where it is necessary to ensure the conservation of perishable foods or in environments such as kitchens, laboratories, cellars and similar.
The Fral FD3000 industrial dehumidifier is very robust and durable and can work in very large environments up to 21000m³/h . For this reason, it is excellent inside industries, warehouses, warehouses and so on.
This dehumidifier for large spaces is easy to maintain thanks to a special washable dust filter that allows it to be reused safely and easily. In addition, Fral FD3000 has a Hot Gas R410A defrosting system (optional) with electronic and thermostatic control, making it able to work even at temperatures close to 0°C.
A dehumidifier is mounted on board the dehumidifier to allow the control of the humidity level in the environment but it is also possible to connect an additional digital one that can be controlled remotely.
In order to function, this professional dehumidifier needs to be connected to a fixed drain.
How a dehumidifier works
A dehumidifier is a machine that sucks in air and filters it. The air passes through a radiator filled with refrigerant gas . The low temperature condenses the humidity present, collecting the waste liquid in a tank. Fral dehumidifiers of the FD range recirculate the filtered and humidity-free air through the action of a fan .
Functional specifications
Sturdy structure in galvanized sheet metal
Fral FD3000 is composed of a sturdy structure with aluminum profiles and panels of resistant hot-dip galvanized sheet metal worked with epoxy powders in such a way as to ensure high resistance to atmospheric agents and aggressive environments. These panels are built to be easily removed in case of inspection and maintenance of the machine.
Scroll compressor
The compressor inside Fral FD3000 is of the scroll type, mounted on anti-vibration mounts and equipped with an electrical resistance on the crankcase.
Refrigeration circuit
The evaporator and condenser coils are made of copper tubes and aluminum fins .
Filter dryer , Shrader valves , minimum and maximum pressure switch. There is also a defrost thermostat .
Stainless Steel Condensation Collection Tank
The tank mounted on the Fral FD520 industrial dehumidifier is made of anti-corrosion stainless steel . To ensure the operation of the machine, it is necessary to connect it to a fixed drain through a pipe with a 3/4"F connection attached to the tank. It is possible to purchase a condensate lifting pump separately , NOT included with the purchase of this product.
3 speed centrifugal fan
The fan mounted on the Fral FD line is a three-speed centrifugal type with double suction . Built with sturdy galvanized sheet metal blades , the Fral dehumidifier fan is statically and dynamically balanced .
IP21 protection
The standard protection level of this dehumidifier is IP21. IP44 is available on request.
Hot gas defrosting
It allows the use of the dehumidifier in environments with a minimum temperature of up to 3°C , it is a special hot gas injection system to speed up the defrosting of ice formed in the evaporator.
Fral dehumidifier air delivery
The standard delivery of this Fral dehumidifier is placed on the side opposite the intake , but it is possible to request the professional dehumidifier in the Top version - with delivery on the upper side of the machine.
Washable air filter
Made of polyurethane , the Fral FD3000 air filter is washable and easily replaceable. High efficiency filter .
Microprocessor
The Fral FD3000 microprocessor controls the defrost cycles , the compressor timer and the alarm board.
Easily visible control panel
Located on the side of the machine. Complies with European regulations 73/23 and 89/336.
Technical specifications
This dehumidifier for industrial and commercial spaces is the ideal machine for removing and/or controlling humidity in rooms . Its nominal dehumidification capacity, calculated in a humidity situation of 90% with a temperature of 32°C, is 3000 L/24h with a maximum absorbed power of 21400 W. The sound pressure calculated at a distance of 3 meters is 85 dB(A).
Fral FD3000 is able to absorb a relative humidity between 45% and 99% in environments with a temperature ranging from 7°C to 35°C or, in the case of separate purchase of the optional features for operation below zero from -0.5°C. The voltage used by the dehumidifier in question is 400V while the air flow is 8000 m³/h .
