Fral FD360 - Professional industrial dehumidifier
Fral FD360 is part of the FD series of dehumidifiers from the Made in Italy manufacturer Fral. These dehumidifiers are designed to control the humidity level in industrial, commercial and even agri-food environments where they become the ideal solution for food preservation or to maintain humidity at pre-established levels.
The Fral FD 360 industrial dehumidifier is equipped with a washable dust filter that allows the reuse of this filter safely and easily. Furthermore, Fral FD360 has a Hot Gas R410A defrosting system (optional) with electronic and thermostatic control, thus being able to work even with temperatures close to 0°C. A dehumidifier is mounted on board to allow the control of the humidity level present in the environment.
In order to function, this professional dehumidifier needs to be connected to a fixed drain.
How a dehumidifier works
A dehumidifier is a machine that sucks in air and filters it. The air passes through a radiator filled with refrigerant gas . The low temperature condenses the humidity present, collecting the waste liquid in a tank. Fral FD360 recirculates the filtered and humidity-free air through the action of a fan .
Functional specifications
Sturdy structure in galvanized sheet metal
Fral FD360 is composed of a sturdy structure with aluminum profiles and panels of resistant hot-dip galvanized sheet metal worked with epoxy powders in such a way as to ensure high resistance to atmospheric agents and aggressive environments. These panels are built to be easily removed in case of inspection and maintenance of the machine.
Scroll compressor
The compressor inside Fral FD360 is of the scroll type, mounted on anti-vibration mounts and equipped with an electrical resistance on the crankcase.
Refrigeration circuit
The evaporator and condenser coils are made of copper tubes and aluminum fins .
Filter dryer , Shrader valves , minimum and maximum pressure switch. There is also a defrost thermostat .
Stainless Steel Condensation Collection Tank
The tank mounted on the Fral FD360 industrial dehumidifier is made of anti-corrosion stainless steel . To ensure the operation of the machine, it is necessary to connect it to a fixed drain through a pipe with a 3/4"F connection attached to the tank.
3 speed centrifugal fan
The fan mounted on the Fral FD line is a three-speed centrifugal type with double suction . Built with sturdy galvanized sheet metal blades , the Fral dehumidifier fan is statically and dynamically balanced .
IP21 protection
The standard protection class of this dehumidifier is IP21.
Hot gas defrosting
It allows the use of the dehumidifier in environments with temperatures up to 0.5°C , it is a special hot gas injection system to speed up the defrosting of ice formed in the evaporator.
Fral dehumidifier air delivery
The standard delivery of this Fral dehumidifier is placed on the side opposite the intake , but it is possible to request the professional dehumidifier in the Top version - with delivery on the upper side of the machine.
Washable air filter
Made of polyurethane , the Fral FD360 air filter is washable and easily replaceable. High efficiency filter .
Microprocessor
The Fral FD360 microprocessor controls the defrost cycles , the compressor timer and the alarm board.
Easily visible control panel
Located on the side of the machine. Complies with European regulations.
Technical specifications
This dehumidifier for industrial and commercial spaces is the ideal machine to remove and/or control humidity in rooms . Its nominal dehumidification capacity, calculated in a humidity situation of 90% with a temperature of 32°C, is 360 L/24h with a maximum absorbed power of 6.0 kW . It is a silent dehumidifier with a sound pressure calculated at 3 meters of distance of 61 dB(A).
Fral FD360 is able to absorb a relative humidity between 45% and 99% in environments with a temperature ranging from 7°C to 35°C or, in the case of separate purchase of the optional features for operation below zero from -0.5°C. The voltage used by the dehumidifier in question is 400V while the air flow is 3000 m³/h .
