It is equipped with a 4-pole 1400 rpm motor combined with the Comet FW2 professional pump , a combination that ensures solidity, reliability and operational continuity.
Equipped with a PED-certified steam function , the KM Extra 8.16 features a delayed Total Stop system and automatic General Stop in case of inactivity. This professional Comet hot water pressure washer has a three-phase 400V-50Hz power supply and a power consumption of 6.5 kW , combined with a 4-pole 1400 RPM motor with a professional Comet FW2 pump . The machine integrates an 18-liter diesel tank with level float and filter, a 3.5-liter detergent tank and a 2.5-liter anti-scale device , ensuring operational autonomy and component protection.
The Comet KM Extra 8.16 16/200 T works with an operating pressure of 30 to 190 bar and a maximum pressure of 200 bar , developing a flow rate of 380 to 960 l/h . The outlet water temperature varies from 85°C to 140°C , with an inlet water temperature of up to 60°C. The boiler's fuel consumption is 5.7 l/h . The machine is supplied with a 10-metre high pressure hose .
FW2 pump
The Comet FW2 pump is a professional pump designed to operate up to 85°C , ensuring high performance and operational continuity in heavy-duty applications. The nickel-plated head and the solid brass manifolds , combined with high-efficiency stainless steel check valves , ensure corrosion resistance and pressure stability even with hot water. The solid ceramic plunger pistons , the hardened stainless steel guide pistons and the high-quality Buna seals with anti-extrusion ring guarantee optimal sealing at high and low pressure. The oversized connecting rods in special stamped brass , the die-cast anodized aluminum crankcase with tapered roller bearings and the optimized oil bath ensure mechanical reliability and low operating temperatures even at high speed.
