IPC HighPure HPE Photovoltaic Panel Cleaning Machine

The IPC HighPure HPE is a photovoltaic panel cleaning machine that combines a high-pressure pump with a series of water purification filters. The system generates pure water suitable for cleaning photovoltaic panels by combining a reverse osmosis filter installed in series with a deionization resin filter.

The combination of the two filters allows the production of extremely pure water of up to 99.9% which has a high cleaning power on the photovoltaic panel (thanks to the absolute absence of limestone residues or other mineral compounds) and allows for an extremely easy cleaning action so much so that the operator can carry out his cleaning tasks of the photovoltaic panel systems from the ground, in extreme safety and with maximum practicality up to a "working" height of up to 20 metres, all with the use of light telescopic rods in carbon fibre or glass.

HPE HighPure IPC Operation

The cleaning of photovoltaic panels and windows is carried out in full respect of the environment , thanks to the reduced water consumption without the use of any chemical or polluting products.

IPC HighPure HPE wastewater is free of detergents and can be used for irrigation or discharged via the sewer system.

High Pure is the most effective purification system on the market and uses 4 stages of filtration :

  • Sedimentation pre-filter , removes particles larger than 5 microns from the water.
  • Activated carbon pre-filter, eliminates chlorine which otherwise causes damage to the membrane.
  • Reverse osmosis membrane , eliminates 98% of impurities and salts.
  • Deionizing resin cartridge , removes the remaining 2% of salts, bringing their concentration to 0 ppm (parts per million).

The water resulting from this process, osmotic and deionized, is 100% pure and is an extremely effective cleaning agent.

With a special instrument supplied, the “ TDS METER ”, the operator can check the filtration results and control the cleaning power of the water produced.

The purer the water, the more aggressive it is towards dirt.

The combined use of pure water, sufficient pressure and a soft brush mounted on the extensions guarantee a quick and optimal result every time.

The Better the Water, the Better the Cleanliness: the higher the purity of the water, the greater its effectiveness and the persistence of the clean glass.

Purified water acts as a solvent on dirt deposited on photovoltaic panels and, thanks to its bipolar nature, is able to combine with the charges (positive and negative) present in the dirt deposited on the surfaces, attracting and dissolving them within it: only a light rubbing is sufficient as rinsing with pure water collects and eliminates dirt and all residues, leaving the surface of the photovoltaic panels and windows clean and free of streaks and smears.

HPE - The version with a 230V motor and 6 - 7 bar pump, which allows the simultaneous use of two operators and a height of more than 20 metres.

THE MACHINE IN DETAIL

    1. Pre-filter: Activated carbon filter. Removes chlorine from the feed water. Chlorine damages the osmotic membrane, rendering it ineffective. The activated carbon filter can retain chlorine in up to approximately 19,000 liters of water—22,800 liters for the AC motor version—after which it must be replaced. The level of impurity in the feed water does not affect the filter's lifespan.
    2. Deionizing resin: After the water has passed through the Reverse Osmosis Membrane which removes 98% of the impurities present (3), the cartridge with deionizing resin removes the remaining 2% of impurities from the water. The life of this filter depends on the degree of impurity of the supply water and, consequently, on the level of salts dissolved in the osmosis water that passes through it (the membrane removes 98% of the total salts); on average, it should be replaced after filtering approximately 15,000 - 20,000 litres of water. To optimise the operation of HighPure, we recommend always checking the purity of the water using the specific meter supplied with the machine.
    3. Reverse osmosis membrane. This membrane removes 98% of water impurities. It should be replaced after 3-5 years of use, depending on the level of impurity in the feed water.
    4. Motor (for versions equipped with a 230 Volt motor)
    5. Flowmeter: This is the counter that indicates the volume of pure water produced and serves as a guide for changing the filters.
    6. Pressure gauge: Indicates the water outlet pressure.
