The Abac B6000 FT7,5 FFO is a 270 L or 500 L compressor with separate dryer . The Abac compressor with separate dryer is a 2-stage belt-driven compressor, complete with a tank- mounted dryer .

Selectable from the drop-down menu, the Abac B6000 270 FT7,5 FFO and Abac B6000 500 FT7,5 FFO compressors are available in the following versions:

• Direct-on-line starting : Direct-on-line starting is simple, requiring only a contactor and overload protection . The starting current is high, 6-10 times the motor's nominal current, and the starting torque is high.
• YD Star-Delta Starting : Star-Delta starting is used to limit the inrush current . The starter motor consists of three contactors, an overload protector, and a timer. The motor is started in star connection after reaching 90% of the rated value .

Two-stage compressor for high pressure

The Abac B6000 500 FT7.5 FFO in the 270 and 500 L versions is a two-stage compressor. Let us now briefly see how a double compression machine works. With each rotation of the shaft, the air passes from atmospheric pressure to an intermediate pressure ( stage I ), to be transferred into a second, smaller cylinder ( stage II ) before being stored in the tank. The cast iron cylinder ensures a longer life for the Abac compressor. This double compression ensures greater efficiency at a higher operating pressure .

Professional compressor: high performance

The B6000 pump unit is connected to the Abac compressor motor via a belt. The belt guard design improves cooled airflow to the Abac B6000 500 FT7.5 FFO compressor pump unit and to the YD (star-delta) version.

Finned cooler

This cooler design is designed to provide compressed air at a lower temperature .

Oil-lubricated compressor

Abac oil-lubricated compressors use a special lubricating oil to reduce friction between moving parts and prevent wear .

Dryer powered separately at 230 V
