Original Leo
The Leo 2009016 0-16 bar / 4-20 mA pressure transducer is a sensor designed to detect water pressure within a plumbing system and convert it into a standard electrical signal (4-20 mA). This signal is sent to the pump's inverter, as in the case of the Leo PDm and PDH models with the PDH30 inverter, allowing continuous and precise control of operation.
Its main function is to "inform" the inverter of the actual pressure value in the system. Based on this data, the inverter automatically adjusts the pump speed , increasing or decreasing it to maintain the set pressure constant. This is particularly useful in systems where water demand varies frequently, avoiding unnecessary full-power operation.
Thanks to the transducer, the PDm and PDH30 pump no longer operates at a fixed speed, but adapts to the actual needs of the system. This brings several advantages: greater energy efficiency, less component wear, and improved pressure stability for the end user.
