Munters IW vents are designed to be used as wall mounted vents in livestock facilities. The critical period for the ventilation of the breeding systems occurs during the winter period, when it is necessary to ventilate the structures to provide fresh air to the animals, but without investing them with cold currents. The only way to achieve effective ventilation is to direct cool low-temperature air along the ceiling of the structure, so that it can mix completely with the warm air inside, before descending into the area occupied by the animals. replacing the stale air. Failure to provide this type of ventilation effectively can cause a build-up of harmful gases, such as ammonia or carbon dioxide, within the facility, resulting in a fatal reduction in oxygen levels.

Another problem commonly associated with ineffective minimal ventilation is that cold air falls on animals, moistening their bedding and disrupting their behavior. Munters IW vents are designed to ensure perfect minimum ventilation, maintaining a healthy environment for animals without disturbing their normal behavior.
During the hottest periods the ventilation is aimed at eliminating heat and cooling the animals. In these conditions the air, which penetrates the structure, can be directed downwards on the animals, which allows to lower the temperature of the skin through a wind cooling process. Again the IW can be adjusted to ensure that the air reaches the animals.

Thanks to the use of high quality polystyrene it is possible to maintain satisfactory hygienic conditions in the area occupied by the animals, as polystyrene has anti-dirt properties, allows high pressure cleaning, is resistant to corrosion, maintains physical properties for many years and withstands extreme temperatures and UV radiation.
To further counter the possible spread of diseases, IW vents are equipped with an integral protection net, which prevents the entry of birds and wild animals into the structures.
