Svelt Regina 4WD SREGILWD12 and SREGIVIPWD12 - Sturdy Ladder with Optional Handrail
The Scala SREGILWD12 and SREGIVIPWD12 with transport wheels from the Regina Svelt 4WD Large line are built in sturdy aluminum and designed for intensive professional use , but are equally suitable for hobby purposes. The difference between the first SREGILWD12 model and the second SREGIVIPWD12 model is that in the second case the climbing handrail is included, specifically designed to allow a safe grip when climbing and descending the ladder.
The main feature of the stairs of the Svelt Regina 4WD line is the presence of four self-braking spring wheels . As soon as the operator climbs onto the first step, the wheel springs are compressed, allowing the base pads of the ladder to rest on the ground, preventing the ladder from moving further. As soon as the operator gets off, the wheels push the ladder upwards and the pads no longer touch the floor, allowing the ladder to be moved easily.
These ladders offer high resistance and are characterized by increased width , thus guaranteeing superior stability. Thanks to the double configuration with 12 steps in the climbing section and the guard with which they are equipped together with the platform that acts as a step, they ensure safe and efficient use.
The height of the ladder from the floor to the platform is 2.77 m with a maximum reachable height of 4.80 m.
Avoiding injuries while using stairs is essential. For this reason, the ladder equipped with 8 cm deep rungs and safety railing is the ideal choice.

Functional specifications
Oversized hinge
These Svelt Regina 4WD ladders feature oversized painted steel hinges specially designed to ensure greater resistance and safety during use.
Platform
The platform is non-slip in reinforced aluminium. Its dimensions are 35 x 25.5 cm and offers stability and comfort. The platform offers ample working space for legs and feet and is equipped with an anti-opening safety hook.
Feet with Wheels
The system consists of four wheels equipped with spring brakes. Once the operator steps onto the first step, the wheel springs compress. This allows the pads at the base of the ladder to stick to the ground, blocking any further movement of the ladder. When the operator descends, the pads lift from the floor, putting the wheels into action and allowing easy movement of the ladder.
Anti-Closing Bars
The ladder is equipped with galvanized steel bars to prevent accidental opening or closing. These bars, in addition to their prevention function, give greater strength to the central part of the staircase.
Extra Comfort rung
The Svelt Regina rungs are 8 cm wide, allowing the foot to rest comfortably on the step, offering greater stability. Furthermore, the step between one step and another is 25 cm.
