The Genmac Land generator is a cardan generator designed for agricultural use. Generator which, combined with a tractor for agricultural use , uses the power of the tractor to generate electricity.
The Genmac Land 2-pole AVR cardan generator can be used in agricultural activities where energy is required to power electrical equipment , such as irrigation pumps , agricultural machinery or lighting .
Perfect for agricultural companies , work in wooded or forestry areas , greenery maintenance , livestock farms and for users who own a tractor and want to exploit the power generated by the vehicle to provide energy. and power electric tools, in areas where it is not possible to access the terrestrial electricity grid or in the event of an emergency/blackout.
The Genmac Land TR19 cardan generator has a 2-pole alternator with AVR. This cardan generator has 3000 rpm, with tractor power 60 HP , oil capacity 0.5L. Single-phase power is 6.3 kW (kVA), with three-phase power 19 kW (kVA).
However, it is important to choose a cardan generator with cardan connection suitable for the tractor . A cardan-driven generator set is composed of a frame on which an alternator is positioned which can be connected to the tractor by a special speed multiplier on one side. On the opposite side it is equipped with an electrical panel with power sockets.
The cardan generator sets are operated with a cardan coupling , thanks to the action of the PTO power take-off . (Power Take Off) of a tractor for agricultural use, through direct coupling to the cardan . Everything is fixed on a metal frame to protect the alternator and allow for more comfortable use.
The operation of a cardan generator can be summarized in these points:
Equipped with a compound or AVR type current regulator , it requires a minimum value of tractor engine power and input rpm to allow operation; the multiplier with protection will then supply the alternator with the energy necessary to create the electric current.
A power generator's AVR works by constantly monitoring the generator's output voltage and adjusting the alternator's magnetic field to keep the output voltage constant, regardless of load demand. This allows you to connect electronic devices sensitive to surges to the cardan generator, preventing voltage variations that could cause malfunctions.
Alternators have 2 or 4 poles . The 2 poles are suitable for 3000 rpm engines, while the 4 pole alternators are for 1500 rpm engines.
