CGM CX5000 - Honda Petrol Engine Generator 5.5 kW

The CGM CX5000 is a petrol -powered generator set that is part of the Deluxe series, equipped with a powerful Honda engine , stands out for its lightweight, compact design and the use of resistant materials .

The generator is mounted on a fixed base with anti-vibration pads , making it suitable for a wide range of uses , including powering homes , mobile systems, camping , hobby activities, construction sites , and so on.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The CGM CX5000 generator is a single-phase generator with an electrical system (1F+N) that can provide a continuous power of 5 kW and an emergency power of 5.5 kW .

The generator is equipped with a LINZ ELECTRIC - NSM Made in Italy alternator, which is of the self-excited type and uses brushes for power generation.

Voltage regulation is managed by an AVR ( Automatic Voltage Regulator ) which allows maintaining a voltage precision of ± 2%, the output voltage of the generator is 230V , while the nominal amperage is 24 A.

The power factor is indicated as 0.9 ϕ , which means that the generator can provide an active power (kW) equal to 90% of the apparent power (kVA), in other words, the generator is capable of providing an 90% energy efficiency.

HONDA GX270 ENGINE

The CGM CX5000 power generator features a Honda GX270 engine that complies with STAGE V emissions regulations. The engine has a displacement of 270 cc and is started manually using a recoil starter system.

The engine power is 6.2 HP (4.6 kW ) at 3000 RPM and is composed of a single cylinder, uses gasoline as fuel.

Fuel consumption is 1.6 L/h at 75% load , furthermore the tank has a capacity of 15 L , which allows for excellent operating autonomy.

• Thermal protection :
  The thermal protection is a safety device located in the electrical panel of the current generator, it has the function of protecting the generator from overloads and short circuits.
