Elicent REC Duo 100 is a ventilation and air purification system with injection and extraction system and 90% heat recovery . This controlled mechanical ventilation system (VMC) is designed for both single-room and multi-room use thanks to the possibility of installation in pairs even in 2 separate rooms. It is the perfect solution for maintaining a healthy environment without having to open windows and is a great alternative to not being able to install a centralized system.

Thanks to the installation of a VMC with heat recovery equipped with a very high efficiency filtering system with double HEPA + G4 filter, a healthy microclimate is created, eliminating up to 99.5% of dangerous particles in the air and 100% of pollen. Furthermore, by keeping the heat inside the room in which the air is recirculated, heating and air conditioning costs are significantly lowered also thanks to the high-efficiency EC motor which guarantees Energy Class A to the CMV unit with extremely low consumption which ranging from just 1 W to a maximum of 3.5 W.

Elicent REC Duo 100 has wall installation with direct expulsion and can be installed both vertically and horizontally and can be rotated 360° depending on the available spaces. Its flow rate is 12/30/40 m³/h and it is equipped with an EC motor , i.e. a highly energy efficient motor that combines the performance of an electric motor and a traditional one, thus offering very low consumption ranging from only 1 to the maximum 3.5W

It is an internal ventilation system designed for single or multi-environments thanks to the possibility of pair installation in 2 separate compartments and particularly suitable for:

• bathrooms
• kitchens
• particularly humid environments

Elicent REC Duo 100 manages the ventilation speeds according to the model purchased, which can be selected from the drop-down menu.

REC Duo 100

The Elicent REC Duo 100 version has automatic 24h operation in heat recovery mode. Its fixed speed is selected during installation. For extraction-only operation, the appliance is equipped with a TIMER mode . In fact, it is possible to choose to activate extraction-only operation at maximum speed for a period of up to 30 minutes through either the dedicated switch or the purchase of the optional RLS accessory, a remote control with speed and ignition switch function.

REC Duo 100MHY

In addition to the characteristics of the basic version, this Elicent REC Duo 100 MHY also has a humidistat for humidity control. Humidity control is of the smart type which means that when the set humidity threshold is exceeded (adjustable between 40 and 90% relative humidity) the fan speed increases independently up to what is necessary.

REC Duo 100 Plus RC

This version implements the MHY model, switching from smart to smart plus humidity control, which means that the fan increases according to the humidity level in push-pull mode, i.e. alternating flow . REC Duo 100 Plus RC is in fact equipped with a ceramic accumulator type heat exchanger which stores the heat of the extracted air in the extraction cycle (pull) and then transfers it to the introduced air during the introduction cycle (push).

In addition, this model comes standard with a remote control that regulates the following operating modes:

Installation

Elicent REC Duo 100 is installed on the wall through a simple Ø 107 mm coring in the wall which does not require any particular demanding masonry intervention. The presence of an "umbrella" closing and opening system of the grid placed on the external pipe allows the device to be easily installed without the need for scaffolding or interventions on the outside of the buildings in cases of installation on upper floors. The grille is connected to a cable which closes it through a mechanism and makes it pass inside the tube and then put it back in the correct position without complex interventions.

Air circulation system

Direct access to the outside allows the polluted air inside a room to be exchanged with the outside air by passing the new air introduced through two very high efficiency HEPA + G4 filters but keeping the heat inside the room with a thermal efficiency by 90% . In this way you avoid having to open the windows, a system that allows you to greatly reduce the costs associated with heating and the introduction of polluted external air, keeping the heat inside the room and creating a healthy and purified environment.
Eliminates at least 98% of PM2.5 and 95.5% of PM10 and 100% of pollen.

Simple maintenance

This decentralized CMV system is able to solve problems of humidity and condensation , an ideal solution in the event of renovations and/or in new buildings where a centralized ventilation system is not provided. Elicent REC Duo 100 requires little and simple maintenance, it is sufficient to wash the filters (even in the dishwasher) and replace them when necessary as well as the exchanger which is easily inspectable and removable.

Free cooling function

It is a by-pass function which allows you to provide comfort in every season by exploiting only the air filter function in the summer and hot periods, canceling the heat retention and purifying the incoming air by replacing it with the polluted internal air.

BOOST function

The BOOST function consists of the maximum speed function of the VMC unit. This function generally has a maximum duration of 30 minutes before the minimum speed is reactivated but can be managed via remote control which allows you to set a timer ranging from 0 to 30 minutes which extends its operation when needed.

Wall compatibility

This Controlled Mechanical Ventilation unit is designed to adapt to walls with a thickness from 300 to 500 mm but you can choose to have it adapted to walls up to 1000 mm by purchasing the 2KT0014 telescopic tube accessory which allows you to adapt yours to the thickness of your wall . If, on the other hand, the wall is thinner, in the case of thicknesses up to a minimum of 220 mm, the telescopic tube can be cut and the standard MFE external grille available as accessory 2GE2002 can be used.
